Great Food, very nice owner - Edit
The restaurant was completely vegetarian and had many vegan options. The food and drinks were excellent. Not too pricey (app. 7 Euros for a main dish). The owner, a vegetarian, was a very nice guy who put all his heart in this restaurant. He also gave us some tips for our stay in Fès and we had the pleasure to eat next to his pregnant cat, Mimi.

Best vegetarian in Morocco - Edit
Best vegetarian food in Morocco. One of the best I’ve ever tried in 15 years of being vegetarian! Great service and the staff is very friendly. It’s evident they enjoy doing what they do.

Great little spot - Edit
We loved this little place. Their moroccan starters are super tasty. We especially liked the Moroccan lasagna. A nice spot for a veg meal in Fes.

Great - Edit
Vegan pizza was delicious!!! Went back for avo toast (minus the egg) and asked for hummus instead, I got chickpeas instead of hummus but it was still really good

Different food choices - Edit
The staff was very friendly and spoke English as well as French. The menue differs from the typical dishes served all around. Many of the foods can be made vegan, all of the dishes are vegetarian.
Read moreWe actually just stopped to have a juice but when we saw and smelled the food, we shared a Lasagne. The salad that came with was really fresh and tasty. The vegetables in the lasagne were tender and not overcooked or greasy.
All the plates around us looked very good as well, especially the starters.

Amazing break from couscous and tajine - Edit
An amazing restaurant option if you wish to have a break from the couscous and tajine served around the city. The dishes are prepared with care, the staff is incredibly nice and quick and the place is central, mall and quaint while still being very well decorated. Would strongly recommend to anyone who desired incredibly good food at a reasonable price.

Really Great Food - Edit
Everything I’ve tried has been great. The Harira soup, Baia burger and royal bowl and juices. It has generous portions, great attention and hygiene. Also the place is really pretty. Prices are according to a good restaurant.

Good food but does not accept cards - Edit
The pasta I got was ok and they place is small but cozy. Most of items can be turned into vegan. Prices are a bit expensive, especially if you compare them with medina' s prices.

Pity. I went there also because of it.

Good vegan food - Edit
It's priced reasonably, though not every portion is the same. We have a big bowl, a pizza, and a pasta, and the pasta was quite small. Everything was delicious.

welcome break for veggies in fes - Edit
this is a great spot for clearly labelled vegan and veggie options if you’re sick of solely eating vegetable tagine and cous cous. menu is quite varied. very vegetable based. friendly staff! i had the vegan pizza which was full of toppings (no vegan cheese / tomato base, was instead a green pesto base) - nice twist on western classics.

Freshly prepared with quick service and polite staff. Food was tasty and had good Moroccan flavours with plenty of veg, without being overly focused on health food (you know how some veggie places are!)

Lovely! - Edit
Was fairly desperate for some decent tasty vegan food in Morocco and found this little gem. We had a couple of dips and a drink & really enjoyed them. Mostly wanted to commend the waiter and general ambience-- very similar to your average Moroccan cafe, just with a great selection of dishes.

Obsessed with Veggie Pause - Edit
I absolutely recommend Veggie Pause. It has many vegan options. From appetizers to vegan pasta (also very delicious), to vegan pizza, vegan sandwiches, vegan juice and smoothies, and so on. The menu is very clear, so all you need to do is check the vegan menu part and confirm with the waiter if the appetizers may have anything lacto-ovo .

Great food and welcoming - Edit
We came across Veggie Pause by chance, and stood looking at the menu in the street for a while. Unlike can often be the case in Morocco, the waiter was patient and welcoming, not pressuring us. We ordered four starters to have as meze and we really enjoyed it. My favourite was the Tantouka, and the tabouleh had a great taste with flavours of sesame and ginger. Recommended.

One of the few explicitly vegetarian places in Morocco - Edit
...catering, of course, largely to tourists. As a result, it's a tad expensive by Moroccan standards.
Read moreEven though the food is not entirely Moroccan, the best dishes were. The one exception was one of the bowls, whose only resemblance with cous cous were the sweet onions on top.
