Simple but varied options - Edit
On my first trip to Iloilo, I knew I wanted to try what vegan options were around. Although predominantly vegetarian, this place still had a variety of dishes to choose from. Very simple, cheap and tasty. It was a good first place to try.
Read morePros: Very inexpensive, vegan options available.
Cons: Not too clear what is vegan so need to ask.

Not mind blowing, but worth supporting! - Edit
We arrived at about 6pm, and there were hardly any options left from the buffet. So I guess there are more options during lunch time, and the food would also be fresher.. Had a couple of dishes from the vegan options, and they were okay. Burger was quite nice! There are some soups they prepare freshly, worth asking whether they are vegan. The food is super cheap.

Veggie Delight Review - Edit
One of the bestsellers is a soup called 'La Paz Batchoy'. Batchoy is famous in the area because it is traditionally made with pork guts, chicken guts, and beef guts (You don't want to know! Look it up here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Batchoy). Veggie Delight's version has absolutely no meat. They only put vegetarian meat substitutes, which may contain gluten. The noodles are made with eggs and other ingredients. They have vegetarian versions of other local Filipino food, such as sisig, valenciana, and lomi. Their fruit shakes are made with cow's milk, but they will use soy milk if you ask them. They also sell veggie burgers, which don't taste too bad. Prices are very affordable. Friendly staff.
Read morePros: Easy on the pocket. Many affordable options, Fast service.
Cons: Located right beside a busy street. Noisy, No aircon. Only fans and the door is open., You have to park on the street.

Nice soup - Edit
The soup was good until I asked what the noodle was made from. They had no clue.
Read moreFood was tasty but stale. It was a horrible location as the traffic echoed loudly in the concrete interior.
I wanted to love this place, but can not.
The resto 100 meters away is much much better.
Pros: They don't know if all ingredients are vegetarian, Taste of soup if you are not vegetarian
Cons: Beware of ingredients. Cooks don't know it, Food is stale, Loud sounds of Jeep's. Trucks and motorcycles

Amazing burger! - Edit
After coming from Boracay where there were no vegan or vegetarian restaurants Veggie Delight was like heaven to me!
Read moreWe went around 7pm by Jeepney and the driver was a bit worried we were on the wrong street but the restaurant was there!
I had 2 of the whole wheat burgers, veg Lumpia that were so delicious my partner liked them more than all the meat lumpias he had in the Philippines! We also tried 2 of the tofu dishes and they were so tasty. Really happy to see the locals endulging in vegetarian food since there is not many options to eat vegetarian or vegan in Iloilo!
Very friendly staff and we would definelty recommend going here!
