Nice place

The small place has a huge offer which they cook on their own, I was quite impressed.

Ranging from cookies to cappuccino with oat milk to dishes from Kasachstan and also international dishes.

Communication in English was possible, but not so easy. No English menu. Wide range of products in the menu. The taste was quite good! I had Wereniki and an algae salad.

The atmosphere was not so cosy b because of the light and very "modern", but ok

New location, new menu, more vegan options

I remember this place from 5 years back. It has moved to the location, got bigger, changed its menu (I liked the "old" tastes better. However, now they offer more vegan options) and got more expensive. It's great that they are still there for us.

Pros: 1. Long open hours, 2. You can get pastries & varios frozen dumplings , 3. A huge variety of vegan sausages

Cons: 1. Pricey for a cafe

Beshparmak is really good

This place is definitely worth a visit just for their vegan beshparmak! (Kazakh traditional dish). It is a bit pricey but it is really good.

Pros: Delicious, Extensive menu

Cons: Sightly pricey, Staff seemed uninterested/not engaging, Off the city centre

The only veggie cafe in the city

It’s sad to state, but it’s a pain to find vegan dishes in Nur-Sultan. So it’s a big luck that there is such cafe near the Museum of the Future.

Pros: Vegan versions of local cuisine , Wide choice, Quiet and cozy

Life saver for vegans in Astana

One of the only vegan places in the city, great selection of veggie and vegan food, drinks and also products to buy (vegan sausage, chocolate and more). Really nice staff, cool atmosphere and delicious food! Highly recommend

Pros: Lots of options, English speaking staff, Lovely atmosphere

Cons: Quite far from centre, Not the cheapest

Definitely worth it

Everything was tasty and fresh. Here we could try traditional Kazakh dishes like small dumplings or Beshbarmak (comes with 4 different meal alternatives).
The address is a bit confusing - it's next to Photobar in the corner.

Informal place with lots of options

Not a very charming interior, but the staff is very friendly and the menu is big with a lot of mixed options of both local, regional and international foods.
The prices re not cheap and the portions are not huge. I was happy to support the nice people there. However, for the price it is a little unsatisfying.

Pros: Large menu, Very nice and helpful staff, decent food

Cons: small portions, pricey , interior looks like a fast food joint

Superb place to dine for brunch, lunch or dinner. Fantastic courses available for vegans. Would be great if they could add vegan milk for coffee options, too.

Pros: Lots of vegan options, Tasty food, Friendly and kind staff

Cons: No vegan milk available as yet. Hopefully soon!

Kept coming back!

The food was great! I had the vegan pizza(it was good but I've had better), the burger was okay. The real star was the Shawarma with sausage. It was delicious.

Pros: Lots of vegan options

Cons: A bit hidden and out of the way to find

Friendly vegetarian/vegan place

Astana’s no place for vegans, so this was a treat. Tucked away in a quiet street just a few minutes by taxi from the centre of Astana, it’s a simple, café-restaurant with friendly, welcoming staff. (They don’t speak a lot of English, but are keen to help.) The menu’s all vegetarian and about half of it’s vegan. We ate so well we came back a couple of nights later for more. The highlight was a fried aubergine dish, but other great things included battered tofu ‘fish’, borscht, a seaweed salad, and passion-fruit lemonade. The starters, soups and salads seemed better than the main courses, and there were a few dishes that were a little uninspired. Tofu with vegetables and couscous could have done with more flavour. No vegan deserts, disappointingly. But, overall, it was great, and so welcome in a city where the main dish is horse-meat.

Pros: Lots of vegan options, Some great dishes, Friendly staff

Cons: No vegan desserts

Lovely and vegan-friendly

Veggie Cafe 108 M2 is an oasis of healthy vegan and lacto-vegetarian food in an otherwise meat-centric city. The menu offers a good variety of dishes, with many vegan items clearly marked on the menu (though there are also some additional items that are vegan but weren't marked vegan on the menu, according to to the friendly proprietor), and others that can be made vegan on request.

I got to try several items on the menu and my favorites were the vegan shawarma, made with faux sausage and vegan cheese, and the vegan fish (tofu wrapped in nori and then breaded and fried). Simpler but still good were the pelmeni (like Russian tortellini in a clear broth), which were tasty after adding a bit of salt and pepper. I was happy to see vegan manti (regional dumplings), though I found the flavor a bit plain (again, you might wish to add salt).

The berry smoothie was refreshing. Unfortunately all of the desserts contained dairy.

The gentle people running the place are sweet and helpful, and speak enough English to help those who don't speak Kazakh or Russian. There is an English menu.

Enjoy!

Great little place!

I was so happy to find this place in Astana! It was the only truly veggie place remotely near where I was staying. Obviously, it's a meat-centric culture, and this seems to be the only true sit-down veggie option in town (I tried to go to another on Google Maps, but it had closed :( ).

I would have gone darn-near every day if I had stayed longer and gotten there sooner. The best part is that their menu is extensive enough that they have Kazakh dishes (like manti) -- it always excites me to find versions of local dishes (and not just falafel, etc., which is surprisingly common in far-flung places). My food was tasty: had the manti and a burger; the latter turned out to be preprepared and cold, but actually was still good, which is impressive! The prices are good for Astana. The staff was friendly and efficient, and the hours are extensive. The location is correct on Google -- corner of the building -- though you can ignore Google's directions and just go down Tarkhan Street.

Pros: Extensive menu, including some Kazakh items, Tasty, Good prices for what you get

Cons: None!

Really good place!

It's a small family cafe, where you can find whole variety of vegetarian, vegan and raw food items. They have bussines lunch which will cost you around 1000tg. And they deliver whatever they have on the menu list. Their chef is very friendly. We asked once to prepare something out of menu and we were very happy to have our order home. And what I like I can buy some homemade dumplings, cakes, sausages, they can deliver them too. As I am with a small baby it is very convinient for me. They are very friendly as well) So I def recommend this place!

Pros: Everything is fresh! Very cozy! Food is delicious!

Cons: It takes them about 25 to 30mins to prepare your o

This is a very nice little place. They serve a wide range of dishes from pizza to moussaka. Many of their options are vegan and raw. What I had was pretty good but I'm looking forward to going back to try more of their options.

They also have a little store where it's possible to buy things like fake meat.

Pros: Great range of vegan options in Astana, Reasonable prices, Friendly staff
