Very Delicious

The food & drinks are fresh, healthy, tasty and good value. The service is friendly.

I had a vegan lunch: mushroom triangle ($2.50), spring roll ($1), mini antipasto pizza ($6), and carrot-apple-ginger juice ($4),followed by a slice of vegan chocolate fudge cake (with crushed walnuts inside and fresh blackberries on top, $3).

There are plenty of undercover (all-weather) bench seats and tables.

To get here by public transport: take any bus from Central Hobart going to Mains Road and get off at stop 18 (Moonah shopping centre). Walk ahead past a few shops to the next street junction, and walk right into and along Hopkins Street, over the railway line and then left into Gormanston Rd. Walk past Fantastic Furniture and then left down the driveway to the Island Markets where you will see the Vegelicious sign. :-)

Pros: healthy, tasty food, very good value, friendly staff

Incorrect street number

Sorry people, I have put the incorrect street number - we are at 54 - 56 Gormanston Rd, in the Island Markets, between Fantastic Furniture & Tilford Trade Centre

Excellent new store

My partner and I recently visited Vegelicious in Moonah and we were both pleasantly surprised by the quality and variety of foods for sale. The staff were extremely helpful and very friendly, creating an atmosphere unknown to other take-away stores in the area. Our meals were both tasty and nutritious and we look forward to going back soon :)
