Huge eggplant parma - Edit
The serving size was so massive I couldn’t finish it- very tasty and fresh. The menu is clearly labelled, and there’s gf options too. Good for a meal with friends who have diff dietaries

Stylish pub and great meal. - Edit
Recently moved to Moonah so currently exploring the local vegan food scene. As a self proclaimed craft beer and whisky connoisseur I noticed this nice looking pub and had to check it out. Only a few vegan options but what we had was really nice - Salt and Pepper Tofu with a Jalapeño Salsa Verde as entree and Eggplant Parma (or Parmy) for main. Both dishes were tasty and satisfying. The vegan Parma came without cheese (which is always a bit disappointing, especially with Tasmania having some really good local vegan cheese makers) but was still a great pub meal. Decent selection of local craft beers and whisky too which was great. The venue itself is a great spacious classic upmarket Aussie pub which I really liked.
Read moreIf they were to add a few more vegan meals, perhaps a vegan menu or just go flat out 100% vegan I would rate this place higher. But as it stands the food and drink were really good, just very limited options for a vegan.
Update 24/12/2022: I have returned to this venue several times since my original review and can confirm that they now have vegan cheese on their eggplant parmy which is great. They also offer a “veggie” burger which can be done vegan with vegan cheese. The burger pattie is more like a faux meat (possibly beyond or V2) and it was delicious. Great to see these improvements to the menu but would love to see a few more vegan options added!
