Well, so here is the thing about Vegele: I went there few weeks ago to give it a try, although I'm really not crazy about raw food. There is not much space, however, everything is clean and tastefully furnished. The menu is rather small, yet, seems distinguished. The staff were busy preparing some catering or delivery orders, so presumably that's how they stay in business, since there weren't any other guests inside ordering food (at least as I was there).
So I had a spinach quiche, something to drink and a small dessert. The quiche, seriously, was amazing, a piece of art almost! I was genuinely flabbergasted! Not only delicious, but also prepared so nicely and appetising!
The chocolate cupcake was still good, but a bit old I guess. Apart from that it was a lovely visit. I spoke with the owner a bit, who seemed truly passionate about her restaurant.
I am not that easy to impress (especially with raw food), but Vegele just blew me away!
There are cheaper options in Leipzig, but still: if you go there, you won't regret it!
There is also a costume/bric-a-brac shop in the same premise.

Die Inhaberin ist sehr freundlich und man spürt, dass sie mit Herzblut bei der Sache ist. Das Speisenangebot ist klein, dafür aber mit Liebe zusammengestellt und angerichtet. Wir hatten Spinat-Hanfsuppe und Quiche und waren von beidem begeistert und so satt, dass wir den Nachtisch mit nachhause nehmen mussten.
Gemütlich kleines Café mit Essensangebot. Die Rotkohlsuppe war optisch sehr ansprechend und lecker, garniert mit kleinen Herzen aus Apfel und weiteren Kräuter. Preis Leistung ist völlig in Ordnung.
