their buffe consists of different kinds of dishes with mock meat, (chicken, shrim, beef and shark?).
Read moretheir buffe is alright, but my boyfriend and i prefer their inexpensive dinner menu. a meal is around 70 SEK.
my non-vegan boyfriend always gets the schnitzel, which he loves - not sure if the garlic butter is vegan though? ask! (almost everything is vegan)
personally i love all the chicken substitues, esp. the chicken spits with peanutsauce, mmmm!
in case you have room for it, get your vegan banana split or fried bananas / pineapple with vanilla ice (just say that you want the "tofuline" kind, it's the name of the vegan ice cream). a perfect way to finish of your meal!

Honestly it's a dream come true that a place like this exists. I went on the weekend and had their barbecue buffet and it was unbelievable. Will come back here every time I'm in Malmö for sure!

Hier kann man das vollständig vegane Buffet geniessen oder a la Carte bestellen. Das Buffet wird durchgehend aufgefüllt und die Speisen sind immer warm - und das alles zu einem unschlagbaren Preis. Auch super empfehlenswert sind die Menüs ab zwei Personen. Die Atmosphäre ist angenehm, es trotz Treppe zum Restaurant eine Möglichkeit mit Rollstuhl/Kinderwagen/Rollator das Restaurant zu besuchen.

I’ve been to Malmo 3 times in my life - first one 9 years ago - and I ate at this place on every occasion. The food tastes great, their fake meats are delicious and the staff is friendly. The price is very reasonable. Definitely my favourite place in the city and I’ll return every time I’m in town.

Went here for lunch on a weekday. Plenty of different curry dishes, salad bar, and coffee included. Super cheap whilst being really delicious ☺️ Was also really helpful with allergies!

We had lunch buffet and I really loved everything about it. I tried everything (except from the salad bar) and it all tasted so wonderful. Unfortunately, I don't live in Malmö, but if I did, I would go to Vegegården as often as possible. The staff were extremely friendly, there was a large carafe of water for free and also coffee with various plant-based drinks, as much as you wanted.

This is the first vegan buffet I've ever encountered, so I don't have much to compare it with. Relative to your typical Asian buffet the selection is on the smaller side, but all the food on offering looked and tasted great. Especially the deep fried imitation shrimp tasted frighteningly close to the real thing. Notable also was that they sold frozen versions of their fake meats that you could take home. I didn't buy any since I wouldn't have been able to take it home safely, but definitely a plus. The owner said they're imported from Taiwan, so I imagine it likely would be hard to find somewhere else.

Came here, hungry, after an early flight from London and it was such a treat! Very generous lunch buffet with different Asian dishes, which all tasted great (deffo ate a lil too much….) Cozy and chill environment in a calm area of Malmö. I will definitely come back and I strongly recommend this place!

I've eaten at Vegegården 5-10 times a year for over 15 years now, and their food is always great. It doesn't matter if I choose to have the buffet or a la carte, they always serve high quality food that tastes great! It's consistent and reliable. And the portions are big, I'm always super full for hours afterwards. Also, the staff is friendly!

If you're a first time visitor, my recommendation is to choose the buffet, that way you get a sense of all they offer.
