Fake meat in all its varieties - Edit
After ordering their fake meat products for several years in the past I was eager to try them in their place and prepared by them for maximum taste. Still, I was afraid of the Loving Hut phenomenon, that is, that the fake meat products are way better than their ability to prepare them and produce a satisfying meal. But luckily, that was not the case. I had a red Thai curry with fried squid rings, which was quite good (no. 102). To be honest, I would have preferred other fake meet or fried tofu as it would have complemented the Thai curry better than the squid rings. But that's just a minor complaint. My friends had other meals and were satisfied as well. The menu is extensive and has a wide variety of fake meat dishes like chicken, beef, fish, lamb etc. Waiting time for the food was OK considering the place is only run by two people. I would surely go back there to try other dishes as well.

We were on our transit way from the North of Germany to the south and had lunch here. Little bit bewildering at first that the menue is full of „meat and fish“ dishes - but all are traditionally made and by far above our expectations (which are high by the way)! Entsprechend dem buddhistischen Glauben wird hier auf eine Jahrhunderte alte Küche gesetzt, die Fleisch und Fisch nahezu perfekt imitiert. Die Auswahl ist gigantisch, neben gebratener „Ente“ und gebackenem „Huhn“ kann man sich die Scampis empfehlen. Aber auch ohne diesen Fleischersatz sind die Gerichte ein Gedicht. Empfehlenswert sind auch die Tees, die mit Mandarinenschale, japanischen Datteln und Teerosen daher kommen.

Dieses vegane Restaurant bietet klassische Fleisch- und Fischgerichte vegan an. Es schmeckt qualitativ hochwertig und lecker. Die veganen Scampis und die vegane Ente haben geschmeckt und kamen von der Konsistenz an das Original heran. So konnte ich auch als Veganerin meine geliebten Scampis genießen. Danke.

Vegefarm hat wie die meisten Chinesischen Restaurants eine große Auswahl an Gerichten aus den Kategorien Huhn, Schwein und Fisch, allerdings ist alles vegan. Das Essen schmeckt echt gut und auch tatsächlich wonach es schmecken soll.

This restaurant in Bremen is amazing. The food is really great. I had the crispy wan tans and the vegan duck with peanut sauce and it tasted delicious. The service was great, the people were really nice and the tea was also very good.

I love the cute exterior of this restaurant as well as its history and philosophy. The owners are lovely people and the food is fresh and of good quality. Unfortunately, I just don't really like it. My husband and I have been there about five times now and there was not one meal we really enjoyed. I do think that it's our tastes and not the food per se, though.
Read moreThe menu mainly consists of dishes with mock meats and these are not our favorite food. It would be great if they offered just a few more dishes based on vegetables, noodles or just usual plain tofu. But even the few dishes that I had that weren't based on mock meat were not something I would like to eat again.
The mock meats taste very similar to real meat, thus, this is a good choice for people who would like to try that or who like this kind of meal or miss the taste of meat. I personally have always hated the taste of meat, even as a child when I was still an omnivore, so this is not the place for me.
Pros: Large choice, 100% vegan, Friendly owners, Nice atmosphere and concept
Cons: Most dishes are based on mock meats , We don't really like the meals

Good mix between the tasty and the fake - Edit
Good mix of faux meat with traditional dishes. It wasn't perfect but never was the faux meat completely out of place. Sometimes you even went looking for the pieces. Soups and sauces were quite tasty. Portions sizes, including the wine, were also good.

Es gibt eine große Auswahl an asiatischen Gerichten, sortiert nach dem entsprechenden Fleischersatz, z. B. Lamm, Garnele, Fisch.
Die Gerichte klingen super außergewöhnlich, schmecken aber ehrlich gesagt wie beim ganz normalen Asiaten. Wir haben uns teilweise etwas mehr Außergewöhnlichkeit gewünscht (z. B. bei fermentierter Pflaume).
Als Vorspeise hatten wir ausgebackene Garnelen, wobei leider nur drei Garnelen auf der Platte waren und sehr viel frittiertes Gemüse. Für uns hatte es sich so gelesen, als ob auf der Platte ausschließlich die Garnelen drauf sind. Schade.
An sich eher ein etwas teurere Asiate, dafür aber rein vegan und komplett Bio und etwas besonderes, da es alle möglichen Fleischersatzprodukte gibt.
Wir hatten die äußerst leckeren Tintenfischringe und das Rindersteack, welches uns nicht so ganz überzeugt hat.
Die Corona Maßnahmen nimmt der Besitzer sehr ernst. Deswegen noch ein Pluspunkt.

Impressive faux meat! - Edit
Vegefarm is one of Bremen's few fully vegan places. Their menu specialises in vegan faux meats. And they're really good at it! I had the "chicken" skewers and the "duck" in peanut sauce, both of which were quite good. I was especially impressed with the look and consistency of the "duck", which was better than at other places that I had tried before. The "chicken" skewers were really tasty.
