Decent classical German style restaurant - Edit
We had a decent time at Wirtshaus. Unfortunately they served us meat based "Bremer Knipp", although we had obviously ordered the vegan variant. Since it turned out this dish was not available anymore, we got some cauliflower instead that was just ok but lacking any proteins. The staff was very friendly and tried their best to give us a good time nonetheless. All in all not sure if I would come back here. It's a decent place but there are other better restaurants out there.

Changing vegan meals - Edit
This is a rustic German restaurant close to Bremen‘s Viertel. There is a vegan chili on the menu plus several changing meals that are written on a blackboard in the restaurant.
Read moreMy husband chose the ratatouille and I had the vegan tarte. It was topped with a little vegan cheese, but mostly with sweet potato, rucola and capsicums. Both meals were filling and very tasty.
Service was very friendly. The meals were a little on the expensive side, though.
I do recommend this place if you are looking for a comfy, no nonsense restaurant that offers hearty food!
