Vegatinos is Back and Better!! - Edit
Omg!! The variety of their menu is top notch but Carol & her team are what makes Vegatinos. Their food is so flavorful but it’s the love they pour into it that makes me return every time. I remember them during their popup days back in 2018 and I’m glad she came back (great ass come back by the way).
Read moreI just hope they get their own place because the other lady Leonor is pushy with her menu which is not 100% vegan. It says it’s vegan but they have eggs on several different dishes. Vegatinos is a hidden gem in the valley and so lucky to live only 10 mins away from them. Signed up here just to give them a review!

Got delivery from here. Ordered a chile rellano burrito with jackfruit, refried beans, and salsa. They didn’t put the jackfruit or salsa in, and they gave whole beans instead. The beans and rice were very bland. It could have benefited from the jackfruit or even just some lime. And the burrito was just dry.
Read moreIf this wasn’t a vegan spot I’d have requested a refund for getting my order so wrong and excluding things I paid extra for. I definitely wouldn’t eat here again nor recommend it.

Whenever I see a vegan flan on the menu anywhere, I try it. So, I have tried many, many vegan flans. This one, hands down, takes the cake so to speak.

I've eaten here many times and it's all amazing, especially the Papusas. I was never a big fan of Lenora's vegan Mexican, and this place operates inside it, but it is fantastic. Also very well priced. Great vegan "meat" options.

I got the burrito with an asada meat that had toppings on it (on the menu, just don’t know how to spell it)
Read moreas well as a happy hour meal that was 18.99 for a single topping medium pizza (good size), bread with butter, and two flax seed drinks (from the second restaurant)
We also got a torta with al pastor and a papusa with birria!
This restaurant is in the same location as a vegetarian restaurant, only two menu items are vegetarian (can be vegan) and the rest are vegan.
Women running it were very sweet and helpful! A little pricey but worth it

Absolutely amazing, fresh, generous servings of authentic tasting Mexican delights. Nachos w asada, wet burrito w asada (enormous) were our faves. Enjoyed a horchata - so refreshing.

We stopped here passing through since it was the closest place on our route. I have to be gluten free and can’t do spicy. This may have been the best Mexican food I’ve ever had. They totally listened and made me a delicious gluten free non spicy quesadilla w mushrooms and veg, along w non spicy guac, rice and beans. It tasted home made. Actually, better than home made. 😅 Hubby had a burrito and enjoyed his as well. It tasted like it was made with love! Lol

From the awesome service to the awesome options, this place was legitimately amazing. Getting 3 birria tacos, with the consommé was such a perfect combo (vegan birria elsewhere hasn’t quite got it right, this place definitely does). Their distinctive takes on asada, carnitas, and pollo set them all apart, making each one my favorite since they were so different. The papusas were also perfectly cheesy paired with the curtido and roja salsa. Just writing this makes me want to go back before heading back home. 11/10 would eat it all again in perpetuity.

The Jamaica aka Hibiscus Agua fresca is incredible, and if you do UberEats/Postmates, you often get a complimentary one with an order of their Pan Con Frijoles
They're located inside of Leonor's, the original location in North Hollywood off Victory Blvd.
The menu has a few unique items you went come across at Cocinero, like they're flautas, pupusas, year-round tamales, and wet burrito.
They're open for dine-in Monday through Saturday, but for delivery daily.
The outside could use a little tlc/fresh vibrance to stand out a little more.

Staff was very knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful. Food was fresh and they don’t cook with salt. It wasn’t clear how Leonor’s and Vegatinos differed. Leonor’s is mostly plant-based, but does have one menu item with a hard boiled egg, so not quite fully vegan.

Vegatinos is a must-try if you’re in North Hollywood—tucked inside Leonor’s Restaurant, it’s serving up some of the best vegan food around.
