Vegetarian and vegan restaurant in the historic centre of Brasov. Serves vegetarian burgers and wraps with soy mayonnaise, mushroom cream soup with baked garlic and thyme and baked cauliflower with panko and tomato sauce. Almost everything is vegan, apart from some desserts that are made with honey. Can swap honey with coconut sugar or dates. Open Mon-Fri 12:00-18:00, Sat-Sun 10:00-18:00.

Really nice restaurant in the historical centre of Brasov. Large selection of (primarily healthy) vegan and vegetarian dishes and drinks, that are tasty. Personally I miss drinks thst are not sour like kombucha. But I think it is a matter of taste.
Read moreNotice that they close quite early Mon-Fri, so eat here for either lunch or early dinner these days.
So if you are looking for a healthy veg lunch or (early) dinner, Vegasmo is highly recommended.

*Note that this is the same restaurant as the one called Rawdia, it seems to go by two names.
Read moreThe food here is just okay, very health-oriented. Many of the dishes and drinks contain honey. In some cases you can ask them to leave it out, but there are no vegan desserts which was disappointing.
The starter with the bread and spreads was actually pretty good. I also had the vegetable muffins, which were edible but kind of meh.

Hi, thank you for your review, but is has some errors:
Read more1. the restaurant IS NOT the same restaurant as the previous one, called "rawdia". There is a different branding, a 100% new and different menu. Because we are relocating rawdia, it is very possible that rawdia is still displayed on many maps and apps.
2. As you can see above, Vegasmo is signaled on Happy Cow as a VEGETARIAN restaurant, so honey is normal.
3. NO DISH contains honey, they are all vegan, with the exception of caramelized onion. You can find honey just in the drinks (which are marked that they can be made also with coconut sugar/especially for vegan customers) and in some of the desserts (we kept the chocolate and sour cherry cake without honey, sweetened with dates, especially for our vegan guests).
We are sorry that the muffins were not what we hoped you should have experienced, so we invite you to have a second opinion about them. The meal is on the house and you are very welcomed anytime :)
