This is a very relaxed place with food with a homy feeling. Had the bbq wings and the Tofu a la Mexicana.it was very tasty!

Servicio lento y atención deficiente - Edit
Por favor, sean honestos si en dado momento no pueden otorgar un servicio completo, se excusaron en 2 ocasiones de que no estaba el personal completo, fue muy tardado el servicio e incompleto, sirvieron la comida fria, teníamos que pedir cubiertos, servilletas y que nos sirvieran el platillo completo como lo describía el menú, para pagar también fue difícil ya que no tenían cambio y la terminal no tenia batería.

Charming dining area faces Parque Revolución - Edit
Was on a sleepless, red-eye to Guadalajara (GDL) and the hotel check-in wouldn’t be until several hours later. So I did what I do best with no sleep and went hunting for food! Thankfully, I didn’t have to wander too far before I found El Taco Vegano just a few blocks away facing the north side of Parque Revolución. It has a charming dining area with tree trunk tables and wooden stools and fresh cut flowers.
Read moreThe menu had all vegan versions of your Mexican favorites (tacos and quesadillas), but I kept getting drawn to the torta ahogada special. It may have been on the earlier side of the day but they say, you don’t visit GDL without trying a torta ahogada. Like its namesake, it’s literally a sandwich drowned in a red spicy sauce made out of cumin and chile de arbor. The flavors came out to play and jolted me wide awake. If a torta, especially that early, isn’t your thing, talk to Patty for her recommendations; she’s super friendly and will take care of you.

Pricier than other places and dirty - Edit
Arrived to GDL knowing that a lot of places weren’t open on Sunday so I thought I’d try here. Arrived to a cluttered area swarming with flies, and ordered a lunch which wasn’t as much as the price implied it would be. Not one I’d recommend.

Buen sabor pero la experiencia no fue buena - Edit
Tienen un concepto donde las mesas y los bancos son troncos lo que hace muy incómoda la estancia en este lugar; también tardan mucho en atender pese a que solo estaba yo; no tienen baño y la atención no fue la mejor tampoco.

Would definitely recommend checking out this little place.

I’m not one to write reviews but I didn’t want this place to go unnoticed for lack of reviews and being new. I had the 4 tacos they offered which were really good and a very good aguachile. Would 100% recommend and definitely coming back when back in town.
