one on my best experience

We stop there the first day we arrived in Lisbon. We were starving after the plane. We took the plate of the day each a vegan chorizo cake each and we were more than full for only 20 €.

The plate of the day was the vegan version of a typical Portuguese dish. It was surprising but really good to have banana on top. The chorizo was the best vegan meat imitation I ate. The cake was super tasty and pretty light, perfect to finish this great meal.

Pros: Service really good. they were busy but they keep , The were speaking: French , English and Portuguese, Cheap, especially the cakes :p

Delicious food, extremely affordable. And outstanding nice service. They even first did not want to accept our tip. We forced them:D

Friendly and delicious

Great place to go if you like Chocolate cake. The friendly owners heat it up so that it tastes as if it was right from the oven. Highly recommended!

Cozy cafe with homemade cakes

We've never tried their daily special, but we've tried several desserts. The molasses cake and the cinnamon bread are amazing, but the others we've tried are just decent.

The staff is so lovely and the prices are really good.

Pros: Molasses cake, Prices, Staff

Cons: Limited options

BEST VEGAN PLACE EVER!

The attention is excellent, the food is very tasty. The place is very quiet, with a very nice atmosphere. It's located very well, easy to find. The prices are very good, not expensive. We highly recommend you to try the cakes.

Pros: Everything is perfect.

Cons: Nothing.

Amazing food & the loveliest people

I couldn't recommend this place any more highly, the food is absolutely delicious, they have a wide variety and it's incredibly cheap! To top it all of, the nicest and most humble, down-to-earth people I've ever met work here. Please, make sure you stop by here on your trip to Lisboa.

Pros: great food, super affordable, lovely people

My go-to place for a quick meal

Since I'm almost always around and in a hurry, I usually stop by to grab my lunch to go, either a vegan chorizo bread (which is delicious but almost always sold-out by the time I get there), a few slices of quiche or pizza, and a slice of cake, for dessert.

The food is very good, especially the cakes! We also get free tea that is fair trade certified, as they told me that everything they could get from fair trade brands, they did. They also do not use palm oil, so this is definitely a very conscious and kind place to eat at.

The two ladies that are usually working there are so kind and caring it almost feels like I'm visiting family members when I go there. I really like the cosy and friendly atmosphere.

To top it all off, it is one of the cheapest vegan places I've visited in Lisbon!

Pros: Vegan, Palm Oil Free, Fairtrade and tasty food!, Kind staff, Cheap!!!

Cons: Food sells out quickly!

Get your vegan butts in here.

I had the pleasure of staying within stones throw of this cafe and I definitely went back 3 times... The mother and daughter duo are incredibly kind, take pride in their food, and make a damn good vegan apple pie!

They serve typical coffees, with your choice of dairy substitute milk. They also have tea every day on the house. Baked goods change daily - good selection of cakes and savory goods as well. There are lunch specials every day and a few options for sit-down breakfasts.

The place is simple and in a quiet part of Lisbon but it certainly topped my favourite vegan eats while there.

Pros: Vegan everything, Live music on Friday and Saturday, Friendly service

vegan treats

I came here with high expectations after reading such positive reviews on happy cow and I was not disappointed. It really is such a welcoming and friendly place, it was very busy on our visit, the cafe was full whilst others visited for take outs and the lovely owners apologised that they didn't have more time to talk to us. I ordered the chocolate cake which was divine, it was rich, moist and oozing with chocolate sauce, we were also given a sample of the lemon and poppy cake which was also fantastic, the cakes tasted so fresh because they are home made every morning. This is a truly uplifting establishment with it's ethical fully vegan menu and wonderful owners.

Pros: super friendly, tasty fresh food, 100% vegan

Tasty but limited

We had lunch here and the kitchen was a little delayed so rather than the daily-changing special we both opted for the quiche and salad. You get a nice big portion of the quiche and the salad is ok if a little dry (although there's oil and balsamic to spice it up a bit). Overall it was ok, simple, tasty and relatively cheap.

Pros: special changes daily, fully vegan, lots of cakes

Cons: basic salad, limited options for meals

loved it!

Great home-cooked style food, extremely friendly people, and nice atmosphere. I had dinner there and ordered the dish of the day, a sausage, and the 'king of the house': the chocolate cake - all scrumptious and very affordable. My favourite vegan restaurant in Lisbon!

Pros: extremely friendly staff, good value, good vibes!

Cons: a tiny bit out of the centre, but worth going!!

Love this Place!

We went there for breakfast today and were totally excited about the little cafe! The owner is such a cute, friendly and nice person! The food is all fresh made and so delicious! And by the way the prices are very cheap for this handmade food. We'll definitely come back.

Pros: fresh handmade food, cheap, all vegan, big selection

Cons: not the best location,, but it's worth the way!

They are open! Ignore Google Maps!

I went for breakfast today, and it was lovely. Number one, the coffee in this part of the world is fantastic. And to have café com leite with soy milk is heavenly. My server explained the different types of coffee drinks, so I could get exactly what I wanted.

Next, I had a kind of quiche with tofu and potato. It's a Portuguese dish traditionally made with bacalhau (dried codfish), veganized.

For dessert (yes, breakfast dessert :) I had the chocolate cake with peanuts. It was moist and flavorful, and just sweet enough.

The two women working this morning were so kind and helpful. People and places like this one make traveling a dream.

Pros: Staff, Coffee, Chocolate cake

Delicious food, welcoming staff

This was hands-down the best breakfast I had while I was visiting in Lisbon. The parfait was gorgeous to look at and even better to eat! We ended up sticking around and having lunch as well, complete with a complimentary dessert thrown in because my husband played a little on the guitar that was there.

The lady running the place was incredibly friendly and welcoming. I would whole-heartedly recommend this lovely find to anyone visiting Lisbon and looking for some good, wholesome vegan food.

Pros: Amazingly friendly staff, Lovely, homely atmosphere, Good value & great food

Cons: None
