Best Vegan Cafe in Lisbon - Edit

This place is wonderful. Just wonderful.

The lady running it is absolutely lovely and the food is incredible and inexpensive. They make vegan traditional Portuguese food and have an amazing selection of vegan cakes and pastries that are consistently excellent.

They have WiFi and great music playing. My number 1 recommendation for vegans and vegetarians in Lisbon.

10 stars!!!! Obrigado!!!

Pros: Great people, Amazing food, Good prices

Good food and nice people - Edit

Hi was there for breakfast, I've had a apple tart and a quiche. Both were very good, homemade of course. They offer fresh tea. There is a nice little terrasse. So for less than 4eur, you could have a tasty b-fast. Overall a good note.
The lady at the counter was so friendly also. Go by foot, its not easy to park there.

Pros: calm & clean, fresh food & tasty, free tea of the day

Cons: inside a bit dark

Great Cafe for Coffee & Snacks - Edit

Made a point to stop by this little cafe for breakfast one day while visiting Lisbon. They had a handful of baked goods on display and I got a slice of cinnamon pear cake and a cafe con soja.

It wasn’t the best cake I’ve ever had but the staff was friendly and I enjoyed the option.

The location is off the beaten path so I had to make a point to walk there. Downtown Lisbon isn’t huge so it’s not that big of a deal.

I would recommend it for coffee or a variety of sweet snack options.

Pros: Variety, Friendly Service, Cute Atmosphere

Pros: Saboroso e barato., Totalemente vegano

Not to be missed! - Edit

I had the mushroom quiche (€1.95) and a slice of chocolate cake (€1.50) with a tea. It was all delicious and freshly homemade; the prices are very reasonable. The quiche was just perfect. The cake is very chocolatey but light and fluffy at the same time. So good.
The staff were very friendly and explained all the food. The atmosphere is quiet and calm - I was the only one there. Maybe it is busier at lunch time.

Pros: The quiche, The chocolate cake, Super friendly staff

one on my best experience - Edit

We stop there the first day we arrived in Lisbon. We were starving after the plane. We took the plate of the day each a vegan chorizo cake each and we were more than full for only 20 €.

The plate of the day was the vegan version of a typical Portuguese dish. It was surprising but really good to have banana on top. The chorizo was the best vegan meat imitation I ate. The cake was super tasty and pretty light, perfect to finish this great meal.

Pros: Service really good. they were busy but they keep , The were speaking: French , English and Portuguese, Cheap, especially the cakes :p

Cozy cafe with homemade cakes - Edit

We've never tried their daily special, but we've tried several desserts. The molasses cake and the cinnamon bread are amazing, but the others we've tried are just decent.

The staff is so lovely and the prices are really good.

Pros: Molasses cake, Prices, Staff

Cons: Limited options

One of my favorite spots in lisbon - Edit

Probably the best quality of food and service to price relationship you can get in Lisbon.
There's usually one soup and dish of the day and some other options and everything I've tried is at least good and sometimes amazing.

Pros: service, price, food

My go-to place for a quick meal - Edit

Since I'm almost always around and in a hurry, I usually stop by to grab my lunch to go, either a vegan chorizo bread (which is delicious but almost always sold-out by the time I get there), a few slices of quiche or pizza, and a slice of cake, for dessert.

The food is very good, especially the cakes! We also get free tea that is fair trade certified, as they told me that everything they could get from fair trade brands, they did. They also do not use palm oil, so this is definitely a very conscious and kind place to eat at.

The two ladies that are usually working there are so kind and caring it almost feels like I'm visiting family members when I go there. I really like the cosy and friendly atmosphere.

To top it all off, it is one of the cheapest vegan places I've visited in Lisbon!

Pros: Vegan, Palm Oil Free, Fairtrade and tasty food!, Kind staff, Cheap!!!

Cons: Food sells out quickly!

Best Vegan Cakes I've Ever Tried (and Cheap!!) - Edit

Veganeats is the best vegan caffe I've ever been in. It's a little small and it may come unnoticed, but once you've been there you'll definetly want to come back!
The owners are extremly sweet and nice and make you feel at home. The cakes are delicious, all of them but especially the chocolate one, which is kind of their specialty. They also sell cookies, which are also very very good. And all of this for a very reasonable price! Usually vegan version of desserts are way too expensive, but in Veganeats you pay more or less what you would pay for a non-vegan one. Bought cakes for the whole family and everyone loved it!

Get your vegan butts in here. - Edit

I had the pleasure of staying within stones throw of this cafe and I definitely went back 3 times... The mother and daughter duo are incredibly kind, take pride in their food, and make a damn good vegan apple pie!

They serve typical coffees, with your choice of dairy substitute milk. They also have tea every day on the house. Baked goods change daily - good selection of cakes and savory goods as well. There are lunch specials every day and a few options for sit-down breakfasts.

The place is simple and in a quiet part of Lisbon but it certainly topped my favourite vegan eats while there.

Pros: Vegan everything, Live music on Friday and Saturday, Friendly service

vegan treats - Edit

I came here with high expectations after reading such positive reviews on happy cow and I was not disappointed. It really is such a welcoming and friendly place, it was very busy on our visit, the cafe was full whilst others visited for take outs and the lovely owners apologised that they didn't have more time to talk to us. I ordered the chocolate cake which was divine, it was rich, moist and oozing with chocolate sauce, we were also given a sample of the lemon and poppy cake which was also fantastic, the cakes tasted so fresh because they are home made every morning. This is a truly uplifting establishment with it's ethical fully vegan menu and wonderful owners.

Pros: super friendly, tasty fresh food, 100% vegan
