Tasty but not perfect - Edit
I had a sandwich and though it had great flavors, the bread was very dry. Coffee was delicious with many non dairy milks to choose from. We had the apple cake for dessert and it was very good.

They may have been having a bad day, though there seemed to be plenty of staff around, but the service here was just about the slowest ever. The place wasn't full so we sat down and were bought water immediately and then waited over half an hour to order. Eventually we caught the eye of the waitress and she then asked if we had 'ordered', which was strange as she was the only person taking orders so surely she would have known? Anyway, we ordered, 50 minutes later still no food, though we had been brought the bill!! When someone at a neighbouring table was served, who had only been there around 20 minutes, we knew something was wrong. We spoke to the waitress, who again seemed surprised we hadn't received our food, who checked with the kitchen. It seemed we had been forgotten!! She asked if we still wanted our food, I said 'Only if it can be served immediately'. One minute later we had it. The food was great, I can't complain at all about that, we had the vegan omlettes, with some cashew cheese and a coleslaw (though the rocket salad was mainly stalks not leaves) but with service like this, there is no way I could recommend the place. Yes, she did apologise but I was still charged full price, no discount was offered or even a free coffee or dessert, which you think would have been the least they could have done, under the circumstances,

Super tasty food and big rations! I tried the omelette (was more like an Spanish tortilla, but was delicious!) and the apple cake was super nice as well! Excellent quality of food. Will come back in my next visit to Athens!

Fast service, friendly stuff, giant portions! Ordered gourmet salad, vegan omelette and pastitsio. Vegan omelette is firm, flavorful with spices and herbs,crisp at edges, fragrant and comes with cashew cheese. Cinamonade is nice too!

Best vegan pastitsio in Athens! - Edit
Lots of the usual suspects on the menu (falafel, wraps, salads) but I came for the moussaka and pastitsio and they did not disappoint! A great job recreating the thick bechamel topping and using red lentils in one and soy mince in the other for the meat substitute. I grew up with these dishes so was really pleased to have tried them veganized.

Really good food and we were happy to finally get to try the Greek national dish moussaka! Food was excellent and the menu had plenty of options, both for drinks and food. The staff was very friendly, informative, and we didn’t have to wait long for the food at all (which was great since we were getting hangry). Definitely recommend this to anyone going to Athens!

Some classic Greek options and other meals to choose from. I had the pastitsio, which was brilliant, and my fiancé had the falafel plate. Both were delicious. They also had vegan moussaka, which I will try when I go back!

Located near the city centre, Veganaki is definitely worth paying a visit. They have reasonable prices and very tasty food. I really liked the fact, that all of their disposable items were biodegradable.

We went there in the morning for a vegan breakfast. It was soo tasty - our little son enjoyed the cheese tomato sandwich. You have to try the lemonade! Fairtrade and zero waste! Coming back again!

I came in for a late dinner at Veganaki and had the Rovitsa, 3 mung bean burger patties on a plate with rocket, tomatoes, peppers, homemade tzaziki and toasted pita bread on the site. Super delicious!

Visited again for lunch since I was in the area. Delighted to find they’ve extended the restaurant. Really well done refurbishment, light, modern and airy. I food still great and really enjoyed the omelette! Love this place.

We were in Athens in spring time and tried out this little place one lunch time. We are in. It’s a small cafeteria style with an open counter and you can see your wraps and salads being prepared while taking to the lady. Everything we tried was delicious. The wraps were especially yummy. It was so good, we got take away from there on another day to eat in our hotel. Will be back for sure!
