Delicious vegan junk food - Edit
I was so excited to learn a new vegan Black owned restaurant opened in Alpharetta! My go to is the Buffalo shrimp basket, it tastes just like the “real” thing and the flavors are great.
Read moreHowever, a few things. There is no indoor seating so you either have to eat in your car or take it somewhere else. You also can’t order ahead without giving your card details over the phone which I’m not comfortable with so I usually just wait the 20-30 minutes and order when I get there.
The prices are also extremely high for an average portion size but it makes sense since they probably pay a lot via wholesale for the fake meats. Other than that, the food is really great for when you’re craving a plant based junk meal.
Pros: Amazing vegan junk food, Awesome vegan “shrimp”
Cons: Very pricey, No indoor seating

Delicious junk food - Edit
Quality and quantity! My Classic Burger and fries were perfection. The burger was delicious and topped with great things like lots of sauce and pickles and lettuce and onions. The fries were some of the best I’ve ever had. Great seasoning and cooked to perfection. It was a little pricey, the wait a little long (order ahead if you can), and sadly no seating, but the staff was lovely gracious, and it was worth the wait and the cost.

Cons: Can be a long wait so order in advance, Limited drinks, No seating

Delicious clean and cute take out only - Edit
I was surprised to find a new vegan restaurant in the middle of a not very vegan area, but apparently they’re doing just fine because there were a lot of takeout orders. It is strictly takeout restaurant although they are considering a location where they could add tables. Delicious Philly cheesesteak. It tasted a little bit like a mild sausage but absolutely delicious. If I had known it had veganaise I would probably have asked for it “without the Veganaise” extremely filling and great flavor.

Not impressed - Edit
When I arrived, I was a bit shocked that there was no seating for dining. I wish this was stated on their website! At least put a table or two in the parking lot.
Read moreThe girl behind the counter said that the wait was about 30 minutes. Totally understandable, since I’m sure there was maybe 1 or 2 chefs in the kitchen. I ordered the shrimp poboy and the turkey sandwich.
Honestly, I wish I had just gotten the shrimp only. The sub the turkey was on was plain white bread. I don’t want to sound mean, but it was the most pathetic looking bread I’ve seen in a long time. I can’t believe they charge $14 for a sandwich you can easily make at home! The lettuce on my poboy was wilted and inedible. The shrimp is good, but it’s ridiculous to pay almost $20 for this sandwich.
I wanted to like this place. I like that is clean and Black-owned, but I’m not sure if I’ll go back. $40 for two wimpy sandwiches is a joke.
Pros: Vegan :), Black-owned
Cons: Expensive, No seating, No public bathroom

Yummy junk food - Edit
All the food we ordered was delicious and came in very big portions which can be rare at vegan places. It is a little expensive but that price does translate to the quality of the food. The philly sandwich was great so were the fries they came with. I do wish they had some healthier options so we could eat here more often.
Read moreThe only thing they need to improve on is their ordering system. It’s a takeout only restaurant with no seating and they don’t really say this on their website. They also don’t have online ordering which is very strange for a takeout only place. That being said I would definitely come here again.

I’m glad to have a vegan restaurant close-by but they need to improve on their offerings - Edit
It’s very well located. Alpharetta and the surrounding areas really needed an all-vegan restaurant, so that’s great. That said, the offerings are really overpriced. Also, I’m the 4 items that we ordered there was only one that was really any good - the classic philly. The shrimp was good, but 9 dollars for 4 small pieces of shrimp and a few potato wedges is way too steep. The sliders were so dry, we actually had to remove the bottom layer of bread. And the summertime “tour of Italy” just had too many strong flavors competing with each other. Every item we orders came with fried potato wedges, and while I will never complain about potato anything, these were wedges that were simply fried, and could’ve done with a lot more seasoning. Considering they’ve just opened, I really am not ready to write them off. I am just hoping they take the feedback and use it to improve their offerings, and perhaps switch to a more competitive pricing structure.

Cons: Steep prices considering portion sizes , only one or two items tasted any good , No healthy offerings at all

New American Vegan Fix - Edit
This restaurant is only open for dinner.
Read moreMy sister found this small unassuming place and immediately we knew we had to try it. So we decided to pig out and ordered several items.
Classic Shrimp Po Boy
This tasted tasted like an authentic Po Boy, if you didn't tell someone it was plant based shrimp, they probably wouldn't know the difference. Well seasoned. I do wish the Cajun sauce wasn't on the side but on the bread. Minor detail.
Classic Double Burger
Nothing more to say other than a well-executed burger.
Hand Cut Fries
Nice size fries. Cooked and seasoned well.
Classic Philly
Being from Philly this is a little biased but I would have preferred more grilled onions and sauteed mushrooms. No bell peppers but otherwise the Philly was good. I would like a hoagie version (shredded lettuce, tomato, fresh onions and oregano)
12" Meat Lovers Pizza
This was by far the best vegan pizza I had ever had. All flavors were there and even my carnivore brother-in-law enjoyed this very much. I would like to see a large pie in the future.
12" Supreme Pizza
Same as above, very excellent pizza. My nephew who doesn't really care for veggies even enjoy this one. Flavor on point and not too much bell peppes which typically overpowers supreme pizzas. Very well balanced.
Pros: Great Taste, Decent Portions
Cons: Expensive , Limited Menu
