Ok

We had read the mixed reviews and went to Vegan World with open minds and the view to support a fully vegan restaurant which are few and far between in Perth at the moment. But sadly our experience wasn't great, but not awful either, so we've given it a 'fair' rating. We will give it another try sometime, maybe we just ordered the wrong dishes, or it was just an off day.

Cons: We were cold so take a coat if it's wintertime

Truly, this is one of the most in dire need of improvement vegan restos in Australia. All buffet food was bland, cold and hurt my stomach. Sadly, the location is great, but wasn't able to return because of poor quality. Overpriced, as well.

Disappointing

Mothers day lunch buffet. Food was not being replenished and was a bit disappointing.

Customers were asking for more food to be put out, even fried rice, but only a few serves of spring rolls and fried mushrooms came out.

For $35 per person it was not worth it.

Pros: It's vegan

Cons: Lack of replenishment , Poor service , Value

Nice food, lots of improvement.

I love their BBH and the owner’s effort to address their hiccups when they openened early this year. Buffet on Sunday is back and meals were hot as it seems they fixed the bain-marie issues. They deserve second chances.

Amazing food

Probably one of the best vegan meals I’ve ever had. Unfortunately the buffet machine was broken but myself and my friend decided to make our own buffet. Every single dish we picked was so delicious!
Their mock meats were really delicious and we got a vegan egg too which tastes like pancakes.

Pros: Delicious, Many options

Cons: Buffet machine broken

This restaurant gives veganism a bad name

This is a strange place that tapes signs over everything telling customers what not to do or touch. Food quality is poor and it is incredibly expensive, while the interior is cheap and the service is bad. Only the à la carte menu is okay because they make the meals fresh. The rest doesn't seem safe to eat. I would give it zero stars if I could, but Happy Cow forces a 2-star minimum on entirely vegan establishments. Don't go here.

Cons: Stale baked goods, Juice that's obviously gone off, Icky lukewarm buffet

One of my favourites

I have had the Sunday night buffet twice and it was great both times. I came with my family for the buffet and everyone enjoyed it. I have also tried the Asam “Fish” from the regular menu and it was very nice with a generous sized portion.

Pros: Delicious food and a good range of it, Casual/chilled atmosphere, Polite and helpful staff

Cons: I can’t stop myself until I have over eaten

Disspointing cold food

Went on a Saturday around 6.30pm was very excited but unfortunately highly dissapointing venue. 98% of food was cold and what wasn't was bland and watery. Very average. Had 3 bites of food and then tried the spring rolls, thought surely no one can stuff that up but alas cold and luke warm but actually stone cold. When we took our full plates back to the checkout and said how unhappy we were and the food is cold the lady just looked at me blankly. Was so angry I could not even ask for a refund as it was $35 for buffet! Just had to leave before I lost my temper at the whole debacle. Will never go back. If I could leave a 0 star for this place I would.

Pros: Nothing

Cons: Disliked everything

Ok not amazing

The food was nice, It's not table service you order at the desk, the food we ordered took a long time. We had to ask where my husband's meal was as we had waited 45mins at that point.

Pros: Good vegan food, Food was tasty, Clean

Cons: Waited 30mins for my meal, Waited 45mins for my husband's meal

Great all vegan venue that offers a variety of dishes.
I really like that they offer the option to put a vegan egg on all the dishes.
Very tasty and speedy service and I'm so happy they've joined the Perth Vegan Scene

Great pho

Vegan World is a family run restaurant in Northbridge, focused on creating vegan versions of popular South-East Asian dishes.
I tried their pho, which was fresh and flavoursome, loaded up with a variety of mushrooms, “meats” and noodles, and served with bean sprouts, mint, lemon and sauces on the side.
I also tried their “Squid Bites” which was such a cute little entree! They consist of crispy fried oyster mushrooms, in a seaweed wrapper which gives them a slight fishy flavour!
I recommend trying their Vietnamese iced coffee, made with plant-based condensed milk, dripped down into the cup at your table - so refreshing on a hot day!
