Delicious, serene restaurant - Edit
Delicious food and amazing friendly service. Nice ambiance too, very clean and nicely decorated. I'm grateful Vegan Thyme is staying open for take out and delivery during the pandemic.

I absolutely love this restaurant!! Such a cute little place that’s perfect for bringing your vegan and even non-vegan friends! There’s everything from curry to pasta dishes to dumplings to French fries! My fave is the drunken noodles! 🥰

Delicious vegan food ! - Edit
This excellent all-vegan Thai restaurant is a yummy place to eat! Great selection of mostly Thai dishes with a smaller selection of other fare. I had the yellow curry and also had them add broccoli to it. I also ordered their brown rice. They turned out to be the most delicious yellow curry and brown rice I can ever remember having had. I’ll definitely be coming back on a regular basis!

My favorite restaurant - Edit
I haven't had a single item that I don't like and I've had at least half the menu. I'm so addicted that sometimes I go there for lunch and dinner. The taro boba is the best blended drink I've ever had. I recommend the orange chicken, fresh rolls and garlic pepper steak.

Disappointing - Edit
I was so excited to try this place, but excitement quickly turned to disappointment. All of my dishes were just sitting in a pool of oil. I was shocked how much oil was used. I could hardly taste anything. The oil completely robbed all the food of it’s flavor. I was constantly wiping my face from all the excess oil. I love Pad See Ew so much, and I try to taste it from every vegan option I can. I was really hoping I would get a nice authentic dish. What I got was a watered down American version. So disappointing. Again, sitting in a pool of oil, no gai lan, a mountain of mung beans taking up half the plate, bland tasteless noodles etc. The only good item was the vegetable tempura. Sadly I most likely won’t return, nor would I recommend this place, at least not if you’re looking for authentic Thai. At least the staff was friendly. But hey, if the majority likes it, then go taste for yourself.

A Conejo Valley Treasure - Edit
Who would have thought that a tiny strip mall in this Newbury Park burb would house the most delicious vegan joint in the Conejo Valley. The menu boasts a surplus of options from Thai classics to Western favorites. Hearty portions, wallet friendly prices and service with a smile make this spot an absolute vegan treasure.

Delicious, affordable, beautiful - Edit
Everything my party of 5 ordered was loved! I am the only vegan of the group (2 new plant based people started just the day before) and we were SO impressed with the taste, presentation, and affordability. Very reasonable, and delectable dishes. I loved my crispy chicken wrap, my family loved their orange chicken, cashew with chicken, and tofu/veggie gluten free dish. Just absolutely amazing in every way!!! Highly recommend!!!

Authentic flavors. Miraculously vegan. - Edit
I’ve been to other vegan Thai restaurants, but none of them nailed the flavor like Vegan Thyme. I would describe Vegan Thyme as a great Thai restaurant, not just a great vegan Thai restaurant, even though it is also vegan.

makes me happy! - Edit
The first vegan restaurant in Newbury park/Thousand Oaks. Now when you're going south to L.A. or heading north you've got an all vegan option for lunch or dinner. This place opened about 2 months ago and I've been there 4 times and it never disappoints. Great choices, Thai to impossible burger, and every day lunch specials. I've had the curries, Pad Thai, Drumsticks, Avocado Spring rolls, Tom Kah soup. Orange chicken was my least favorite but I just wanted to try it knowing I don't like sweet food unless it's desert. I want to try their impossible burger next. Try it and you will be happy too.

Great food - Edit
I got the orange chicken and I enjoyed it😄the sauce what very tangy and sweet and it really filled me up esp with the side of brown rice I got. It was $9.95 plus $1.95 for the rice and I still had some left over. Only con I can think of is that I wish the chicken had more of the orange sauce

Vegan Thai and More - Edit
It looks like this restaurant just opened. They are still working on the menu, but already have a lot of options to choose from. If you show up at the right time, they might even give you some samples of new dishes they are creating. The Chow Mein and Spring Rolls were good, though a little oily. I would probably order the fresh rolls next time. Service was friendly.
