Please don’t use this company

I placed an order at the end of December for an MS client. They confirmed my order via email and withdrew money from my visa. No order was delivered. I attempted to call them on delivery date - voicemail full and goes straight to voicemail. I have emailed and called them every day since. I looked at their google reviews and they continue to do the same thing to other people. I left a comment on their IG account warning others and they deleted them and blocked me. They know what they’re doing and don’t care. Please don’t lose your money and warn others.

Would give 0 stars if I could. Gave them so many chances to win me over but...

Long story short:
Please do NOT be fooled by the shiny pictures and good testimonies you see in their google listing. You will NOT receive your food on time. It WILL get there days, if not weeks late. The business owners cannot communicate delays and so much as notify you when they are unable to fulfill their side of the deal, and you will only find out days afterwards, after having wasted time waiting and prepping the food that you very much did not have time to tend to.

The photos on this business listing? They are STOCK IMAGES (here's one: https://www.independent.co.uk/life-style/health-and-families/veganism-environmental-impact-planet-reduced-plant-based-diet-humans-study-a8378631.html), not photos of their own actual food. The stuff they send you tastes ok half the time, but looks like prison slop more often than not, as other reviewers have pointed out. The meals look like a three year old took a brown crayon and colored in half a piece of cardboard. Sometimes tastes like it too.

Please go with another meal plan service that at least respects its customers enough to let them know when delays will occur. And one where delays don't happen on huge magnitudes every. single. week.

Long Version:
So. I really wanted to love this.
I first ordered a month's worth of meals from them at the start of July. It is now October, and only now has the order been fulfilled. It took SEVERAL months to receive *4* weeks of food, because weeks would be skipped without notice.

Meals are scheduled to arrive on Monday, but not once did they actually do so. We would receive texts notifying us that it would instead arrive on Tuesday, but would not come until the end of the week. It's tough to pay good money for the reliability of a meal plan and be let down week after week.

Not a single meal arrived when they were said to, and because of this, many meals did go to waste. The picture included was the container at the top of a delivery bag, from the moment I brought it inside. It had been sitting there, lukewarm, for goodness knows how long because there was no hint that there would be a delivery in the middle of the night.

The amount of mold on this meal doesn't just occur within a night, I don't think. Food safety? nah. Let's send unrefrigerated, unsealed (multiple meals with loose or unhinged lids), expired food to our customers 3-5 days late every week :)

Pros: Ok food some of the time

Cons: Awful communication+BIG delays every single week, Horrible food safety , VERY bland food some of the time

Expensive, mediocre food and horrible customer service

I ordered Vegan on the Go in July. It was rescheduled to the next day at the last minute and then arrived hours later than scheduled.

The portions were very small for the price and many of the items were not as described on the website (e.g. lots of fillers like pasta that weren't mentioned, rice instead of quinoa).

I was told I would be compensated for the delays but no one got in touch so I followed up. I was offered a 50% credit on my next offer. I requested a partial refund instead since I did not want to try their food again. I got no response so I followed up over a week later and again 3 weeks later.

The owner sent a long email asking what was wrong with the product, which I had outlined in detail earlier. I replied with my issues again at the end of August and mid-September and have not received a response.

I normally don't post bad reviews but I wanted to save anyone else from this horrible experience that I had.

Excellent Quality and Flavor

Every meal was fantastic and I will continue this meal subscription for the for see able future. I recommend this for anyone living in Toronto or the Greater Toronto Area.

Pros: taste, excellent value, customer service
