Very cool vegan options! - Edit
First day in Seoul and we wanted to try some classic Korean food, so Vegan Insa was the perfect choice!
Read moreWe ordered tteokbokki (spicy rice cakes), fried dumplings, spicy Korean “chicken”, and bibimbap which even came with a vegan egg!
Ordering is easy using the touchscreen kiosk at the front, the food came out quickly, and the staff were so lovely. Everything was delicious, but the standout for me was definitely the dumplings with the dipping sauce.
A great spot if you’re looking for authentic Korean flavours that are completely vegan.

Tasty food - Edit
I shared three different dishes here and we had a really nice meal. However I have to admit that it was not the best over the past days. But still, the location is very convenient and the staff was really friendly as well.

Fun Comfort Food - Edit
The bulgogi in the lettuce wrap was the highlight! The fried dumplings were so sinful and so good. It was also fun to try Korean fried chicken, but that was our least favorite dish. Service was friendly too! We left with happy bellies!

Beautiful place and delicious! - Edit
The Korean fried chicken was to die for, the texture specifically was in my opinion the best meat substitute I’ve ever had, I’ll think about it forever!! The place is also so beautiful!
Read moreThe only thing that did make me a little uncomfortable is realising that this place is connected to a cult (of which I know very little other than it’s all vegan - so it might not be a harmful one)

Ottimo cibo autentico Coreano - Edit
Locale accogliente, personale molto gentile e capiscono l'inglese. Il chiosco per ordinare ha anche la lingua inglese.
Una tappa obbligata a Seoul

Cucina tipica Coreana vegana!!! - Edit

Absolutly amazing! - Edit
When I entered the restaurant, the owner already welcomed me with open arms. He showed me the dishes they serve and everything looked delicious. I will come back again to try some other dishes. I am happy, that they have vegan Bulgogi, because it was my favorite dish, when I was a child and ate meat back then.

Read moreFinding a truly great vegan restaurant in Seoul is no small feat — which makes Vegan Insa all the more special.
We were lucky to be served by Eunji, who was one of the warmest, most attentive servers we've encountered anywhere. She chatted with us about her family and even mentioned she had visited our hometown in the US and loved it — it felt like being welcomed by a friend. Her hard work and genuine hospitality made the whole evening memorable.
The food was outstanding. The dumpling soup was comforting and deeply flavorful, the bibimbap was beautifully balanced, and the vegan bulgogi was honestly the best we had in all of Korea. Each dish felt thoughtfully prepared — real Korean flavors, no compromises.
We've made a point of trying as many vegan spots in Seoul as we could find, and Vegan Insa is our favorite — by a wide margin. Don't miss it.

My Favorite Vegan Spot in Area - Edit
Super welcoming staff. Especially Mr. Kim! He is fluent in English. Sweet to all customers. He’s the best. He will put a smile on your face. The staff come from a background of meditation-centered lifestyle.
Read moreThey have a break from 3PM-5PM.
When it’s really crowded inside, they don’t make it a hard 3PM close. But I try to be respectful and finish or take my food to go by 3PM.
The prices are reasonable. Order a lot! My faves are the soup and the Korean fried soy chicken and side of egg. I went multiple times.
Very clean bathroom.
Yummy ginger candies at register. Order on the screen.
Near palaces and Hanok areas.

Best place in Insa-Dong - Edit
This place has really good and fresh food. It is perfectly located, close to some tourists attractions. I have been there twice and ordered two different set of meals. Both were very good. And the pumpkin juice with rice - this is so cool! And here you pay first once you order at the kiosk

The best korean fried chicken and amazing sushi! the vegan egg on the bibimbap is incredible, the texture of the yolk is exactly like boiled egg!!

There are usually a lot of people so it’s good to book a tableful advance maybe.
