RESERVATION ONLY - TO GO MENU AVAILABLE - Edit

Greasy and overcooked - Edit
We had 2 orders of the karaage and 1 cutlet, some fried potatoes and a bowl of coleslaw (which was offered as a substitute for what we originally ordered not being available). Each plate came about 5 minutes apart, including the two that were the same. The ‘fried potatoes’ turned out to be fast food style fries, reheated. The karaage and cutlet were unpleasant. We ate anyway because we were hungry and then really regretted it. Food was lukewarm and wet in the middle and massively overcooked and dark on the outside, and dripping in oil.

Nice - Edit
Nice, only knocked a star off because they had a really limited menu the day we visited which was a bit of a shame. Otherwise decent portions and nice food

Set menu items were nice but our karage and mushroom carpaccio weren’t that good. Nice service and staff!

Authentic tasting fondue right in the heart of Asakusa! - Edit
This place blew my mind! Not normally a fan of vegan cheese, but I ordered the fondue out of curiosity. It tasted so good that it reminded me of the fondue that I had in the Swiss Alps, before my vegan days! Also ordered the matcha latte and brownie cake, which were equally pleasing 😋 And to top it all off the restaurant had chilled out vibes, excellent customer service, and a live stream of Senso-ji Temple 👘

european food, japanese portions - Edit
Food was good and made for european tastes, but the portions were a bit small for the price. Staff spoke well enough English for intl' tourists and was friendly :)

Unique cutlet - Edit
I had the cutlet rice. The texture of the cutlet is pretty unique. Maybe made of fu/wheat gluten? Very fluffy. But not very meat like.

Mediocre - Edit
A completely vegan restaurant located near the Asakusa shrine.
Read moreWhile it pains me very much to say this about a fellow 100% vegan restaurant, it was unfortunately a very mediocre experience.
The price was quite high, but once again it fits tokyo standards but the food, while definitely not being bad, was just mediocre.
Unfortunately I kinda regretted going there.
But looking at the positive reviews I am happy other people enjoyed their food.

They're still here! - Edit
Very friendly (and English speaking) staff. Food was good and service quick. Did the sake tasting as well
Read moreAround the time of this review (dec 2025) they are having some issue with Google maps and the restaurant is marked 'permanently closed' but that is not the case. I was in the area and walked by to check just in case and I'm glad I did!

The only downside was the service, the staff were friendly but they did forgot to take our order, then forgot to bring out part of our meal.

Meh - bland food, not worth going - Edit
The food was not great. It was just ok. Nothing to write home about. We stopped in there to grab a bite because it was the closest vegan place in walking distance at the time and we were hungry. Food wasn't terrible, just bland and no better than something one could make at home. Would not go back.

The food was delicious, however the staff acted strange towards my friend who is mixed race, ignoring him and only really addressing me. Very weird vibes and not sure I would go again, it was a shame cause the food was genuinely great.

Italian and Japanese cuisine, but no fusion - Edit
From the description of the restaurant we were expecting real fusion kitchen between Italian and Japanese cuisine, but the menu is more divided between the two than fused. I had aglio olio and was expecting rather shiso that parsley, but I got almost 100% Italian classic with sweet potatoes as a Japanese touch. Their cutlet was good, but then again, without real touch of Japan. I’d rather call it Italian restaurant with Japanese options.

Simple but fresh and hearty - Edit
This is the only all vegan restaurant in Asakusa. It offers rice and pasta dishes - usually with chickpeas or mushrooms.
Read moreYou can order additional chickpeas, or a vegan cutlet, to bump up the protein, but I wish they had more protein-dense options such as tofu, tempeh, or TVP.
Nonetheless, I ate here twice and enjoyed it both times.
I had the chickpea pasta and the eggplant arrabiata with the vegan cutlet. In hindsight, I'd order the chickpea supplement instead of the cutlet which was a bit bland.

want to go back again soon - Edit
The selection is a nice combination between more typically Japanese dishes and western dishes. Taking a set makes the prices a bit cheaper, though generally the prices while not exactly cheap are decent. I really enjoyed my lunch and plan to go here again before I return home as there are still a few dishes I'd also like to try.
