Perfect vegan cake - Edit
This place excels at cake slices in my opinion. Last year I tried the chocolate swirl and Viennese whirl which were both just okay however the Dubai chocolate cake slice was delicious. My only regret is not trying other cake flavours!

Visited at Vegan Camp Out 2025! Got the cheesecake (it was late, and there wasn't much stock left) - it was tasty and well presented but far from being one of the best vegan cheesecakes I've had. Was also £9 which was super pricy! There seemed to be lots of options which all looked delicious so will definitely try the baked goods next time.

Best baked goods I’ve ever had - Edit
I’ve been dreaming of the cookie pie ever since I last tried it at VCO last year. I again got the cookie pie to try this year and it didn’t disappoint. The girl who served me did seem slightly angry and annoyed at me for asking for a spare box but tbf she had wasps coming from all angles at her and a load of hungry vegans to serve so I would probs be too :))) She kindly gave me two cookie pies after making an error with the order and so I got to try both the lotus and the cookies and cream! Quite honestly the best baked items I’ve ever had in my 23 years on the planet :))) - not for the weak tho , it’s incredibly sweet (which I love) and HUGE😄

Visited Vegan Antics en route to Vegan Camp UK at The Retreat Animal Sanctuary. The menu was extensive, though I would’ve personally appreciated a bit more variety, especially a couple of wholefood-based options.
Read moreI eventually opted for the chick’n burger and fries. The fries were well-seasoned, but I was a bit disappointed by the burger — it seemed to be a Fry’s-style patty or something similar, rather than a homemade seitan version, which I had hoped for.
I also picked up a tunah sandwich to have for later, but unfortunately, I didn’t enjoy the texture — it was almost a slimy consistency and I ended up having to throw it away unfortunately. Maybe picked the wrong dishes on this visit.
On a more positive note, the sweet treats looked tasty. I tried the lemon curd Viennese whirl which I did enjoy.

Cycled 50km to get here, had a panini and coffee, loaded up with cake to gift to my family. Excellent selection of cakes and baked goods, paninis, hot food, brunch and lunch options, drinks. Absolutely spoilt for choice. Will be coming back for sure. Great to find a place like this that's not in Brighton or London!

Read moreIncredible range of huge cakes for a weekend event - there were always queues! But we bought cake, a cherry bakewell blondie, a Swiss roll and a cheesecake over the Saturday and Sunday.
We enjoyed them but they are super sweet - definitely not something to have if you've already had a load of sugar! Ideal if you need an afternoon boost though.

It’s the only vegan restaurant I can get my carnivore daughter to join me. Excellent options for lunch, including egg mayo sandwiches which are currently my favourite. They do the best vegan ice cream.

I was extremely excited to try this bakery as I’d read a lot of good things online. Don’t get me wrong, the food wasn’t “bad”. It just didn’t really have much flavour other than being sweet. There were 2 small pieces of pineapple in a PINA COLADA cake🤦 And not only that; the slice of cake they gave us was cut up absolutely ridiculously and that is not acceptable for the price. When I asked for another slice of the cookie pie because the one they gave me was completely broken and crumbled up, the employee looked at me like I was the rudest person in the universe and that made me feel terrible. I tried 2 of the cookie pies and they were tasty, but the texture was a bit off and again; tasted kind of bland. Not worth the price.

So good I had to go back (I was just visiting Gravesend). Day 1 I tried the Bourbon hotdog, side of Mac and cheese and the biscoff cheesecake… heaven. Too much food for me, but it had to be done, I couldn’t pick one. All amazing. An indulgent day.
Read moreDay 2 we were on a very tight schedule and had everything to go; pesto panini (ok - could use more filling), Berry smoothie (great), cookie dough and chocolate roll thingy (good - very rich, but didn’t travel well in the heat - I took it on a plane).
My omni friend had the pastie (really liked it) and the sausage roll (the fave), she said the pastry tasted homemade like your mum made it (with love). She loved the biscoff cheesecake and really liked the mango smoothie.
If I lived in Gravesend I would be here all the time.
