Excellent Gujarati restaurant in Little India - Edit
Vatan (not to be mistaken with its fancier namesake in Manhattan) is a blessing on Newark Ave in Little India. It is a genuine, authentic, very reasonable place. Avoid the buffets and the snacks (good as they are), and go for the Gujarati thail that is sumptuous and good enough for 2. It is great value, with lip smacking food, better than most places in India.
