Vapiano in sweden not recommended!

Extremely bad base service on these places in sweden.

Would not recommend anyone to visit these cashless places.

They also changed much of the staff to state payed staff so the quality and feeling was going down the drain.

Okay. but not more

Vapiano have a lot of vegan option and everything is good, but nothing you remember after your visit.. Nice staff, and the food is made directly when you place your order. Sometimes, it can take a while before your food is ready. But overall it’s ok!

Very pleasant atmosphere, disappointing food

Vapiano seems fairly anonymous at a distance, it's not entirely apparent that it's a restaurant (nor where the entrance is). When you do find your way in you're not greeted with a "hello", but with a "do you know the system?". I have not ended up in the matrix but in an Italian restaurant that uses an internal card system, where everything you order is charged to the card, and when you leave you pay for everything on it.

This is smooth in one way, annoying in another. Regardless, since they have several smaller restaurants inside the big one this allows you to order from several different outlets. The pasta is the only one that had anything vegan and you only have a few choices, but you can add ingredients, so it's very customisable.

The finished dish was in itself fairly nice but a disappointment in some respects. The pasta was ok, the small amount of vegetables in the sauce was pitiful. At the prices they charge, I expect quite a lot more, especially considering the low price level of non-organic veggies. I approached the staff about the lack of filling, only to get told that I should have paid for extras - apparently the overpriced "base" buys you little more than pasta, a sliver of sauce and veggie-pieces you can count on your hands, non-organic I might add. Unbefitting in more than one way.

Pros: Very nice venue, Centrally located , Fairly nice level of quality

Cons: Overpriced, Very sparse serving, Unpleasant staff

OK

A typical Italian chain restaurant. Very few vegan options but it is very nice to have them labelled. I had a tomato soup and a salad, which were good.
