Delicious gelato! The owner was chatty, helpful and passionate about the gelato he was serving.
Read moreThere was an extensive selection of vegan flavours, gelato and sorbet. The dairy free is kept in a separate fridge so no cross contamination. The wafer cones were vegan too!

Best honeycomb ice cream I've had - Edit
Great to have vegan options that aren't sorbet, although the sorbet flavours on offer were not just generic lemon. I had the oat honeycomb vegan ice cream which was delicious as was the cone. All made by the owner who served us and was very friendly and chatty. Would recommend the walk down cold bath street after as it's full of nice shops and cafes.

Vegan ice cream isn't amazing - Edit
I've had the vegan ice cream here a few times. It's fine, but it's nothing special, especially when compared to all the amazing looking, creative flavours in the main, non-vegan freezer. You'll look at all those and then see the vegan menu, and it's mostly basic flavours like mint or strawberry in your choice of oat, soya or coconut.

No, there's a separate vegan menu, and the vegan is kept in a separate freezer you can't see, so looking in the main freezer you see when you walk in won't work. You just have to ask what's vegan, though, and they'll give you the menu.

Amazing tasting vegan ice cream - Edit
Lots of vegan flavours on offer all of which are very good. We visited as part of a vegan food tour around the town and got to try all the flavours as well as hear about how the ice cream is made. Wish I lived more local so I could visit again.

The staff here are so helpful and there are always numerous vegan options using various types of plant milk, predominantly soy and coconut. As well as what is on display they usually have some other options in another freezer at the back of the store. The ice cream is delicious.

Had no idea there was a place that did vegan ice cream options until recently. Just decided to Google when my friend and I were in town. Glad I did! The Mint Soya Ice-cream is lovely, will be going back to try other flavours, as Mint was the only non-sorbet option when I went.

Have about 5 soya flavours and 6 or 7 sorbets. I had a scoop of strawberry soya and a scoop of vanilla soya ice creams. Both were lovely and creamy and had a very natural taste. I was also given a free taste of one of the sorbets which almost as creamy as the ice cream and nothing live the icy mass you normally get served as a vegan. Definitely worth a trip.

Not normal to be presented with a selection, but at last count they do 4 soya flavours, 4 sorbet flavours and a coconut milk option which is a really impressive range. You need to ask for it though as display space is limited.

I love Vanilli's. They make all their own stuff using local products. Of course there is regular ice cream on the menu, but when I was in there there were two flavours of soy and two vegan sorbets to choose from. It's all gorgeous, you've got to go!
