Sorbet was good but no tables to sit - Edit
We chose raspberry, strawberry and blueberry sorbet (there would also have been pineapple but I think the flavours can change). Too bad there wasn't any other vegan options, like chocolate etc. Anyway, it was good and moderately priced. There were no tables so it was a take-away deal, we sat at the pier on the other side of the road.

Cons: No tables - have to eat takeway/standing, Only sorbets for vegans, Waffles not vegan

Good Sorbets - Edit
The only vegan icecream are the sorbets, which are very good. The scoops are big, but also quite pricy (that is normal for iceland).

The watermelon sorbet was particularly good. No vanilla, chocolate or “creamy” options just sorbet.

Not enough vegan flavors and the one I had was so bland almost flavorless. I wanted to love this place but : (

Only sorbets - Edit
I had an orange sorbet which was very tasty, but I was a bit disappointed to see the only vegan flavours were sorbets. Especially with how vegan friendly Iceland is, I expected a bit more exciting flavours than juist fruit sorbets.

Good variety of options - Edit
We'd popped in here on our first night but we were tired, it was busy, and I hadn't noticed the menu on the blackboard and from a quick look in the chiller I didn't see anything that was obviously vegan. The last full day of our holiday it showed on a Happy Cow search and we went in to find lots of options, I wish we'd gone in earlier. I was so full from dinner I couldn't manage more food, but my partner got a cone. Decent prices for Iceland (still a bit pricey but not earthshattering), worth a visit.

Nice vegan flavours - Edit
This little ice cream shop has a good range of vegan flavours. I had the mango ice cream (it could have been sorbet?) in a cup as I don’t think they had any vegan cones.

Great Icecream - Edit
The mojito vegan icecream was great. They give you a really big scoop. They let you try before you buy in case you can't decide. When we went there was 4 options.

We visited the other Valdi's location, on Frakkastigur. There were at least 6 vegan options, including coffee, chocolate, strawberry, and blueberry ice creams, and mango and lemon sorbets. Delish, and well-priced for the area.

What an amazing find - Edit
So happy we ran into this place. Gorgeous little ice cream parlour, vegan and non vegan. The vegan menu is big but not all the flavours are each day. (Mostly fruit flavours for vegans) The cones are vegan friendly but they make you aware that they are made in a factory which deals with dairy products so may contain milk. They also do tubs instead. I had the Kaffi (coffee) flavour which was so great and the portion sizes are huge! Its 500ikr for one scoop which is like £3 and one scoop is about the size of 2 or more scoops. So good! No seating as its just the parlour but so cute and perfect for a treat

Great ice cream spot - Edit
Great spot to have some ice cream, right next to a great brunch place too. Located right by the old harbour. Plenty of different flavours & the cones are also vegan, not too expensive neither.

Solid Option - Edit
The best place for ice cream if you're lacto-ovo or with omni company. 2-4 vegan options are offered daily (flavors of the day can be viewed on their Facebook page) but they are usually if not always fruit sorbets. If you're looking for actual vegan ice cream, there are other options in Reykjavík.

Nice to have vegan options! - Edit
They are trying and have several vegan-marked options, which is great for Reykjavík. You won't find anywhere better for vegan sorbet, that's for sure! However, their flavors are a bit hit-or-miss. They change daily, or at least, when one batch finishes, they replace it with something else. Some of the recipes haven't been perfected and are a bit disappointing. The fruit flavors are usually excellent, but they once had a chocolate cookie flavor that I was very excited about, but it was a let-down. A bit bland. But the mango sorbet I paired it with was great.
Read morePros: selection of vegan flavors, vegan flavors marked, good sorbet
Cons: vegan flavors are usually just fruit-based, hit or miss sometimes, long lines in the summertime

Best sorbet in town - Edit
Fresh and sweet vegan sorbet! Their waffle cones are not vegan though and sometimes the sorbet is too sweet for my taste, still best sorbet in the city. My favorite is the mango sorbet.
