amazing spot!

I went there three times! It was a great spot. Thank you guys. However, food should be improved with respect to taste and creativity for some options. But desserts are hilarious:) And thx a lot for being open all the time

Pros: neat & clean restaurant, cool &nice location , always open! also on Sunday , amazing desserts!!

Cons: food could be more tasty. not well flavored , plastic dishes:(( also if u sit inside-> waste! , bit too light inside, not very cozy

Why it is closed ??

This place was very good: tasty and pretty. Every time I was in Bologna I went there to eat something.

I'd like to know why it is closed; someone know it ??
Thank you !

bye to all !

we're fond of it

It is our Linus Blanket, we always know what we are going to find and we love it each time!
The menu has grown, it offers now so many options!

My favourite place

I was in Bologna for a couple of days and I'll always remember this place. I really loved the fact that my Airbnb place was so close to this restaurant. When I was really hungry, I ordered 2 meals. The special offer 4.50 for a burger and snacks, was of a great value. The taste was good and the service was super. I want to go back to Bologna just to go back to Universo Vegano :-)

Pros: Good food, Great variety, Not so expensive

Cons: They close for a short break from 4-7pm

A great place to eat

For me, a relatively new addition to Bologna's vegan options, Universo Vegano is bright, clean, friendly and inexpensive. A 100% vegan chain of eateries throughout (most of ) Italy; and they said Italians didn't understand veganism. Their 11-11 opening hours reward the hungry traveller and the options are great- I had lasagne, pizza and salad on three consecutive nights- but soup, sandwiches, 'veghioti', foccace and burgers are also available, and they do take away. The desserts are delicious. They even sell beer and wine.

If you're looking to impress your business partner, go somewhere else; if you're looking for enjoyable food in pleasant surroundings, come here!

Pros: Very friendly, helpful staff, Great food options, and 100% vegan, Nice bright, clean surroundings. Close to the uni

Cons: It doesn't exist in the UK

Convenient, friendly, delicious

This place was a real lifesaver. We went to Bologna in August and all of the other veggie restaurants were closed, so we ate every meal here. Fortunately they have enough variety that we were able to try new things each time (although the tiramisu and chocolate cheesecake were so delicious that we did have to order them more than once!) The people working here are super friendly and speak English very well. The prices are very reasonable. The atmosphere is very cheerful and welcoming. The location is very central. We will definitely return next time we are in Bologna!

Pros: Friendly, Variety of food, Desserts

Good, but not great

Extensive menu with burgers, sandwiches, focaccia, wraps, salads, pizza, soup, pasta and rice dishes, sides and dessert. We had the special (not on menu) lasagna with mushrooms. It was a bit pricier than the lasagna alla bolognese on the menu (8 versus 6.90 euros), was good, but not great. My partner had the orecchiette pasta with wild broccoli and soy. It was quite tasty and served in a bowl made of a shortcrust pastry -- so you could eat the bowl, too. We had a chocolate and berry tart and an apple tart for dessert. Again, good, but not great. As this place is open hours when many other places are closed, we'll probably go there again the next time we're in Bologna. Looking forward to trying other options. Staff was friendly and helpful.

Pros: Open late in the evening and Sundays, Offers combo specials, Lots of choice
