So much more than words can transmit

One of the ultimate stand out vegan places I’ve ever been to in my life. The three of us had their famous £22 Sunday Roast extravaganza each selecting a different meat (roast chicken, lamb and turkey). You are also provided with a Yorkshire Pudding then it’s self-service vegetables and all the usual trimmings such as sauces, stuffing and lashings of gravy. I had a bit of everything, piled my plate high then proceeded to devour the whole feast with a pint of their delicious Posh Lager overlooking Petticoat Lane Market. Not a bad way to spend an early Sunday afternoon before hitting The Oval for some T20 cricket action.

Pros: Amazing food , Wonderful staff , Ethical interior

Wonderful

The food is delicious and they have some really interesting options on their menu. The staff is so lovely and there is a nice, relaxed atmosphere in the restaurant. We loved the decor as well, and the vibe of this place. Also, it's great that all their profits go to animal rights organisation. I'll definitely be back 😊

Pros: Delicious food, also we got to meet Earthling Ed

Cons: None

Fantastic

If I lived closer I’d honestly be here every week! The food was amazing, even though on the day I visited their fridge was broken meaning limited food options. What I did order was SO tasty- 10/10! They’d also ran out of ketchup?! But that didn’t spoil my visit at all. I ate so much that I was too full for a pudding, so I’ll definitely be back as I want to try the cheesecake.

Pros: Spoilt for choice, Money for a good cause, Stylist decor

Don’t waste your money

The food is bland, greasy and practically cold. Such a let for a good concept.

Sadly the menu is very limited and you’ll wait a long time for your food, despite having plenty of staff.

Pros: Aesthetically pleasing

Cons: Long wait, Bland food, Disappointing menu

When I went I also noticed that although there were many waiters, service was slow and not efficient. Waiters were just hanging around not knowing what to do. I agree that the food was not good though it looked good.

Great food for a great cause

Really enjoyed the food here, staff were very attentive, and the decor is great. Nice to eat and make a difference at the same time with their not for profit concept

Pros: good food, healthy and junk, profits go towards animal sanctuaries

Bit disappointing

We went on Friday lunch time and the service was pretty dire. Not sure what was happening in the kitchen but people who arrived more than half an hour after us had actually eaten and left before we even got our main courses. The food was OK - but not having any gluten-free burger buns despite the Surge burger being listed as a gluten-free option isn't great.
I know it's only recently opened, so I hope to go back in a month or so and update my review more positively.

Pros: Really nice decor and atmosphere

Cons: Such a long wait for food, Gluten-free options not great

A 100% Must Go

This non-profit diner is wonderful. I was spoilt for choice when I looked at the menu and to know my money was 100% going back into the animals is great.

The atmosphere and ambiance are lovely and if you’re considering going, I would highly recommend you do so.

Pros: 100% vegan through and through. , 100% of the money goes back to the animals., Wonderful atmosphere and great value for money.

Exactly what London needs!

I’ve been here three times already and I absolutely love the place..the food, decor, and the friendliest staff you could ever wish to meet. Not to mention that the venture is totally non-profit.
The menu is varied and ranges from healthy salad items to burgers and seitan steak, with all sorts of amazing desserts and appetisers thrown into the mix.
Additional outdoor seating, a great range of alcoholic and soft drinks, along with the fact they are pet-friendly and very reasonably priced makes it very hard to find fault with this inspiring diner.
Look forward to returning this week!

Pros: Awesome food, Beautiful decor and welcoming staff, Killer booze selection!

Cons: None

Best diner in London

Unity Diner has exceeded all expectations. The chef is a vegan wizard. Pub classics have been reinterpreted, and the presentation is top notch. I’ve been twice already in the couple days since opening. The Moving Mountains Burger and potato wedges have so much flavour and freshness. The vegan BLT is wonderful and if you are very hungry or willing to share, the loaded chips were out of this world - like British nachos, melted cheeze and vegetables but with unexpected additions like pomegranate, seeds and goji berry sauce.

The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. The kitchen is quick to accommodate the busy lunch crowds. And the decor fresh and bright with original art, plans and neon sharing their mission of animal compassion.

Pros: Big portions, Great space, Outdoor seating

Wonderful activist space

Beautiful diner and amazing food. I like that there are classic diner options on the menu as well as healthier options and raw food. I had a salad, tofish burger and cherry pie and it was all delicious. I'll be back to try the rest of the menu!

Pros: All vegan, Non-profit
