One of the few places I visited in Bologna who were friendly to me as a single traveller with rusty Italian. I don’t mind that normally, but it was nice for a change! Lots to choose from. I had a tasty and filling beetroot burger.

Authentic Italian reataurant with very pleasant interior and there is a children's area here. Hummus piadina is super top. And try their all vegan bakery and sweets.

The sweets are mindblowing and the changing menu keeps this place so interesting. I was lucky to try the lasagne and I can honestly say it’s been the best ever so far! Furthermore the staff is just lovely :)

Read moreWe went here twice and experienced different dishes. The first time we went for lunch and got a risotto and a pasta dish. Both were okay, nothing spectacular. Very filling, especially if you look at the decent price.
The second time we went for breakfast, and it was outstanding! The croissant and hot chocolate were possibly the best I have ever had as a vegan.
They also have yummy cookies so I would say their sweet foods are definitely the better choices here.

We went on new year's eve. The cook prepared very original and tasty dishes for, unlike anything we've eaten before, such as a kind of falafel with grains, ravioli with a cavolo nero sauce, a tartar with raw cauliflour and nuts. Highly recommended.

Had a great meal. Menu is small but changes frequently depending on what is in season. I had a lentil and rice dish which was just what I needed after a hard day of site seeing. Excellent selection of vegan sweets. I had the tiramisu which was exquisite. Friendly staff.

The food here is delicious! I had the pasta ragù and the coffee cake - definitely get a sweet here if you can, they are delicious and there is a huge variety. The owner/waitress is very friendly, overall a great experience, highly recommend you eat here!!

My boyfriend and I read quite some positive reviews online and decided to eat here. Best dinner of our entire trip! We loved the homemade pasta, bread and deliciously prepared vegetables. The staff speaks little English but is ever so lovely and willing to try to explain. The menu varies from day to day (love this - it means cooking with the season's vegetables!) and prices are acceptable. We enjoyed a glass of wine (boyfriend) and a fresh pressed fruit+vegetable juice (me) with our dinner. Everything is home made, and you taste the love for food in every bite. While we actually ate enough, boyfriend convinced me to try the vegan cake as well. Best vegan cake I ate so far - and I'm pretty much becoming a vegan myself! Delicious and creamy cookies and cream-pie for me, and hazelnut pie for boyfriend, to die for. Many more options to choose from: vegan tiramisu, raw cheesecake, fruit pie... Just delicious :-)

My favourite place to eat in Bologna - Edit
We first had take away cake from here on the way back to our B and B, which was good but perhaps I chose the wrong cake for my taste. We then needed to eat before we flew home, but it was just before midday. The owner could not have been more helpful, and recommended a few options to us. She really made our experience extremely nice. We went for an Aracini, Russian salad and a pastry, with a cold pressed juice each and some bread. Everything is homemade down to the bread and the mayo, and boy could you tell! Fantastic food. We wish we lived closer!
