The food was quite ok, nothing special. We wanted to order one bigger meal for 2 as we didn't want to eat much at that out before another traveling. It seems it was problem with the owner as he was arguing with us that it's not enough for one person and tried "I don't speak english" even thought he understand well (but yet it was our problem and request). His attitude changed after that toward us. The commission was 3 euros, so 6 for both which is the most expensive one we got on our trip (we were in Roma, Tivoli, Pompeii) and it wasn't in the info on menu table before (or in photos here. I suspect he wrote it after chargering us. Too expensive for not so good dish and he was arguing it's vegan and microbiotic but yet I was in couple restaurant of this kind and not so pricey.

Read moreWe asked for one portion to share because we only had two hours in the city and wanted to taste more options. After that meal, we left the city without eating again, since our single lunch there cost the same as two portions in a normal pub.
The service charge was €3 per person (yes, we were stupid and didn’t check before sitting down – don’t make the same mistake, it’s even higher than in Rome).
The food price itself was standard and the taste was fine, but nothing special – not something you must try unless you only care about “healthy” meals. The waiter who served us was a bit arrogant, and we suspect it was because we ordered just one lunch to share.

One of the best vegan diners I ever had. Honest, simple yet creative local delicious. My favorite was the spaghetti with chestnuts. Very kind waiter who speaks good English explained the menu to us. Would love to return!

We were so excited to have real vegan food that we had a bit of everything; the menu changes often. We had a mixed plate of a soup dish and different rice dishes with fresh veggies. We also tried the ravioli & the seitan, both were outstanding. They even served everything on two plates so my partner & I could have a bit of everything.

Read moreYesterday we had the mixed dishes (a starter miso soup, two types of risotto, salad and vegetables), chocolate cake as a dessert and pear and apple juice (we had two bottles, but would recommend just one for two people because it‘s so much and really thick and intense). Today we joined the pizza night, also very good! We also shared the rice ice cream, sooo good. A great experience for us and not our last visit.
Also have a look at the organic food in the entrance of the restaurant, really special and a good holiday present for your dear ones or yourself😄(e.g. olive cream, pesto etc.)
Pros: All vegan and so delicious , Good prices, Nice atmosphere and really friendly staff

Questo locale è tra i miei preferiti, a Salerno e provincia, che offre pietanze davvero gustose seguendo la stagionalità delle materie prime che sono da loro coltivate e quindi a km0. Quello che mi piace particolarmente è che vengano offerte poche pietanze che non vengono congelate, ma cucinate al momento. Tutto fresco e genuino e posso assicurare che si sente!

Weird place, left without eating there - Edit
The reason of the two star rating is, that there’s a minimum of 2 stars for a vegan restaurant. Otherwise my rating would be lower. They didn’t had a menue, just a few poorly printed shattered pages, that didn’t inform about the food, drinks and prices. There was just a weird waiter that explained what they offer. When I asked what they have to drink without alcohol, i was told that they have no coca-cola, because it’s a bad company. So they just have beer and wine. It was 2pm and I don’t drink alcohol at the moment. I was even more confused because i didn’t asked for a coke. I saw other people with tea, so I continued asking, what they have without alcohol. Then he said water or orange juice. I asked for the price, and got no answer. The waiter also just explained the mixed platter, that was absolutely not interesting for me. It didn’t looked very nice. Like made by a none vegan restaurant, that mixes all vegan starters and side dishes to an uncreative main course together. So i asked for pizza. Because I read that there is pizza on friday. He said yes, i asked about the price for a pizza and he said that he doesn’t know the price. The whole place smelled very bad. There was a sour smell all over, that reminded me of vomit. Then I left the place without lunch.

We had dinner at this restaurant and it was really good. Their menu is always changing and they work with fresh localy produced veggies. We both had the spaghetti with vegan parmesan and it was really good. We also had a salad with melon, it was basic but honestly quite good! There is also a grocery section in the restaurant wich is nice! Would recommend if you are ever in Salerno!

Daily changing menu, we had seitan with potatoes and a mixed platter. Everything was absolutely delicious, and cheap! Only €27 for 2 meals and a bottle of water. Very quick service too.

Lovely wholesome vegan restaurant - Edit
Home-cooked vegan Italian food - a welcome break from cheese-less pizzas. Owner/waiter was so so friendly, and offers a rotating daily menu (including a daily mixed platter). All the food was super tasty and fresh. Shop attached also has a variety of bio-dynamic wines, chocolate, and various other vegan things! Would throughly recommend. Go support the only vegan place in Salerno!!

We arrived in Salerno and immediately went here. We thought they were closed but the owner said he was happy to accommodate us. All alone in the place he then offered us a mixed plate of some of their dishes, all of which were amazing. Pumpkin cream risotto, a salad with green beans and pink melon, beans with onions and an onion focaccia. It was affordable and the server/owner was super friendly. If we’re ever back in Salerno we will definitely return here!
