Worked there, loved it! - Edit
I worked at Umami and if you want Vegan Ramen then ask for Udon Noodles, because the normal noodles are selfmade and with Egg and say you dont want an Egg on top. You can always inform the stuff members if you have an allergy or that you are Vegan, because we have this laminated chart where every dish is listed. The Veggie Gyoza are actually Vegan, I had looked at the Packaging before, because i was curious. The Korroke sauce is not Vegan, but its still tasty without the sauce. If you like spicy than you can get the Veggie Kara Miso, if not spicy enough...you can always ask for more spice or use the spices at your table.
Read moreDont be shy to ask something the stuff will do a backflip for you.
It might be a little crowded, but I would defiently reccomend it. We had some Japanese customer before and they complimented our Ramen.
Even tho I dont work there anymore, I still LOVE THE FOOD and will continue to go there.
You can also order food as takeaway, but Umami doesnt deliver you have to pick it up within 15 minutes or you give a specific time when you want the food to be ready.

3 vegane Ramenoptionen - Edit
Die Ramen sind lecker, aber eher eine große Portion. Wir hatten Schwierigkeiten mit den Stäbchen zu essen, da die Nudeln sehr rutschig waren. Edamame als Vorspeise kann ich empfehlen.

Perfect Ramen - Edit
Best ramen I have had since I left Japan and it was vegan. I had the veggie miso ramen. It's made from konbu instead of meat broth. The noodles are fresh and homemade and they cook it to semi hard. They have Japanese beer on draft and good sake (I recommend the dry ones).
Read morePrice for the ramen was 14 euros. An extra serving of noodles can be ordered if you want to have more after you only have soup left, for about 3 euros.
There was a queue outside but we only had to wait about 15 minutes. The food was prepared fast.

Great ramen 🍜 - Edit
I had the veggie yuzu shoyu, which was so good 🤩
Read moreAs a starter I took a Hiyayako, without knowing that "Bonitoflocken" was actually fish ): Luckily I was able to remove all of it and eat the rest. It was good and (but) super salty due to the ponzu sauce.
Overall great experience! The venue is comfy and makes you want to go to Japan, with the japanese music and decoration 🍡🌸🎴

My favourite Ramen in Stuttgart - Edit
They’re my favourite Ramen Place in Stuttgart. Plenty of Vegeterian options - ramen can be veganised with udon noodles instead of their regular noodles. Their bowl contain mayonnaise which can be removed on request but the taste suffers without the mayonnaise. Would love if they could offer vegan mayonnaise! No reservations possible - be early ideally before 7pm to avoid long waiting times.

delicious food, but only customizable vegan food - Edit
The food was delicious, but just few vegetables. You have to ask for vegan noodles with the ramen and leave out the mayonnaise with the rice.
Read moreThe edamame portion was very large. :)
Restroom was clean.
Pros: edamame portion was large, cute interior
Cons: tight eating space

Try once - Edit

Wish it had been better - Edit
The staff is well informed, helpful and welcoming, yet I cannot make any good comments about the vegan yuzu shuyo ramen… something was off about the food. The broth my toddler had was more delicious and I’m not sure that her broth was vegan, too. Either there was an authentic ingredient for which our taste buds were not trained or an ingredient in the soup were not prepared in the right way. Either way we were disappointed. I couldn’t give one star as the staff was really nice and maybe there is a chance that the other vegan options are more delicious than what we had. You can also guess that some of the disappointment comes from the price which we had to pay for something we couldn’t eat…

Nice Ramen options - Edit
First of all, a delicious and authentic Ramen shop that’s surely worth a visit. They have three vegan ramen options, including shoyu and miso Ramen, veggie dumplings and several vegetarian dishes.
Read moreThe prices are moderate but the size of the portions is okay.
When we went there around 4 o'clock in the afternoon it was really full and we had to wait. Bring some time, especially on the weekend. However, the staff was nice and helpful and we were served fast.
Pros: Small but nice vibe, Fast serving
Cons: You might have to wait till you are seated

It's important to note that the options are only vegetarian by default. They told me you have to switch the noodles to udon for the dishes to be vegan.
