Tasty, but hard to find - Edit
First thing - we need a lot time to find the restaurant, it's exactly we're the map on happy cow is showing, but the house doesn't look really like a restaurant. The full front is black an didn't look open, so we went back to the street and searched for a few minutes ^^ a little tip for you: look at the yard for the Cyrillic signs: "УГОЛ" - than it's easy to find.
Read moreI had a mini tofu burger with fries, my girlfriend had a wrap with tofu, we both drunk a apple cinnamon lemonade, which was very sweet and had a blueberry cheesecake with soya-cappuccino/espresso for dessert. In total we paid 1210P (maybe we got a lunch-discount, but we don't really know).
The burger and the wrap were really good and the fries were very different to typical European fries, but very nice. It was a small portion, but with the cake we both were full. The lemonade was ok, but very sweet. The cake was delicious and my girlfriend enjoyed the vegan milk in her cappuccino :)
Pros: English menu, Fast carrying , Taste very good
Cons: Not easy to find

В чашке кофе нашли таракана/Found a cockroach in a cup of coffee - Edit
Маленький зал с неплохим меню. Хотели познакомиться с кафе и блюдами. Вначале подали кофе, в котором плавал таракан под пенкой. Конечно, с нас денег не взяли, но было неприятно./ A small room with a good menu. Wanted to get acquainted with cafes and dishes. Initially, coffee was served, in which floated a cockroach under the foam. Of course, they did not take the money, but it was unpleasant.

Great food and vibe - Edit
We are here twice whilst staying in Moscow and really enjoyed the food and service. They have an English version of the menu and there are good options (burgers, wraps, soup, salads and a range of desserts). I really enjoyed the seitan burger and the delicious chocolate brownies.

super tasty find - Edit
we were delighted to find this place close by the pushkin museum/kremlin. big portions, great options, tasty hand made vegan food to the rescue! would love to try more from the menu but we had: tofu nori rolls, the seitan steak and salad and the black bun seitan burger. with a pitcher of fresh sparkling mint/cucumber limeade! the seitan steak was like one of this mythical slabs of christmas ham: platter sized and 3/4” thick. well, not mythical. sadly people actually eat chunks of animal flesh that size and greater. give this vegan a try! 🌱

Pleasant experience in Moscow downtown core - Edit
As of July 2019 it is fully vegan. Big selection of vegan food - burgers, wraps, soups, salads, a few main entries as well as deserts and drinks. Not the best food i have tried, but very decent. Prices are reasonable too. The restaurant is tucked away from main street and has a distinct hipster vibe.

Best Burgers in Moscow - Edit
A hidden little place tucked away just around the corner from Red Square. A good restaurant with friendly staff and a nice but simple setup with a garden to chill in as well. Had a delicious lentil burger on a black bun with an onion soup that filled me right up!

Great Food, strange location - Edit
I'm a little torn about this one. The food was great, really tasty and special, I think I didn't have such a good vegan burger in a long, long time! The prices are also very low, so I can definitely recommend the restaurant in that regard. What was not so great was the service, while the waitress was very nice, I had a hard time ordering anything since no one was at the counter and the waitress was on break for a long time and I couldn't quite figure out how the place worked. They were out of a few things on the menu, but I tried the lentil burger and the tofu nuggets and they were superb!
Read moreThere is a "no smoking" sign outside, but the porch was littered with cigarettes and the staff was also smoking there...eh?
Anyway, they have an English menu and it's possible to pay by card. The location is hard to find, just follow your map on the phone, enter the small side street/courtyard you find, and it's the one at the very back on the left, there is no sign but it's the place all in black. I can definitely recommend it, but somehow found it was a strange experience overall.
Pros: Tasty Food, Great prices, English menu
Cons: As outlined in my review

They have one of the best vegan burgers in Moscow in my opinion. The place itself has a very basic decoration and a bit dark interior.

Cozy vegan restaurant - Edit
Ugol is probably the best vegan place I've been to in Moscow. The atmosphere is cozy and friendly, and I think the location is great too: a quiet alleyway in the city centre.
Read moreThe food is delicious! My favourite menu item is "Hungry Lekha" roll: you can choose two toppings (seitan, tofu, mushrooms or falafel) or double your favourite one. It's super filling and tasty.
Another thing important to me is that they try to be eco-friendly: there are no plastic straws and unnecessary napkins.
Pros: nice atmosphere, friendly staff, delicious food
Cons: kind of hard to find for the first time

The Corner - Edit
An institution that focuses on feeding you the best vegan food, not design & interior. However, here is a wonderful friendly atmosphere. The Double Trouble burger is able to satiate a cow. Guys also support some animal protection initiatives.

Nice little place - Edit
I remember this place as nice. Nothing fancy, kind of mediocre food. We ordered a burger, wrap and one of the coffee drinks (which we thought were ice creams. A bit disappointed I must say). It was ok, the drink was very sweet and very much tasting of coffee (duh haha!). What more can I say?

Probably the best and affordable veg place downotn - Edit
Huge portions, tiny prices (especially for downtown Moscow).
Read moreNothing fancy about the interior, pretty low-key and minimalistic, yet kinda cozy and so punk rock!
A huge variety of actually delicious vegan burgers, wraps, snacks, pizzas, deserts - you name it!
My personal faves: Tofu Burger, Tofu Nori (aka Tofu Fish) and waffles (wish they were always on the menu, but that's not always the case).
A great option for those interested - you can grab beers from the bar next door and enjoy them here, or vice versa - order stuff from Ugol and have it at the bar.
The staff is overall friendly and always glad to help. I've had a couple of poor experiences there , but the manager was always there to hear my feedback on social media, response and improve.
So far so good! Hope they never run out of business.
Pros: Pricing, You can pay with card now, yay, Big portions
Cons: Slow, Sometimes the staff forget about special requests

Fairly good - Edit
The location is great, yet terrible as finding a dark building with a black logo and closed windows with black wooden planks was not an easy task on a snowy evening.
Read moreIt's not cosy inside, yet their restroom was really cool due to all the collected vegan stickers. English menu was a total mess - just 4 same pages of waffles printed and 1 of pizza which was not available.
But the food was actually good, I'd rather cut seitan petty into thin slices and marinate all of those separately as a big piece of seitan has weird texture but I still liked it. Falafel burger was also nice. Vegan zaziki confused my non-vegan friends but they liked the sauce.
Service was very quick, rather neutral than friendly but it was not an issue as they seemed to be busy.
So I'd probably come back to try their waffles and pizza if they get it back.
Pros: Nice variety of vegan food, Central location, English menu, sort of
Cons: Not cosy, Might be hard to find the cafe when dark

Awesome place - Edit
Great place, good menu, menu can be found in English. We tried the cheese, onion and potato soup to start which was lovely! Followed by one of the best vegan falafel wraps I’ve ever had in my life! My partner had the burger which was great also. They do hot drinks and I think cold drinks also. We tried the waffles with vegan cream and chocolate sauce which was lovely. The waffles came out really warm and were nice and soft in the middle. They do a lovely foamy coffee. It’s really well priced, the food is delicious, and it’s the perfect place to escape a Russian winter and warm up for a bit! This was one of our favourite vegan places in Moscow, definitely worth a visit!

Yesterday, for the first time in my life, I decided to try burgers in Moscow. And I found it. Street looks so cool, but inside smth boring (not bad and comfortable). I tried burgers with tofu, lentil and seitan. There are 3 amazing burgers, one of the best I’ve ever tried. Burger with tofu was something dry but tasty. I’ll come to this location again and again.
