Really “Kindelicious” Food - Edit
After a month in Thailand, we were craving some non-Thai vegan food and Ubuntu was perfect. The Chychen Tikka Masala was simply perfect! Aromatic and spicy and we ate it with the Paratha that I also strongly recommend. The Mango Lassi is also glorious: thick, rich and tasty.

Best vegan food I've had in Thailand! - Edit
The food tastes amaaazing. The crispy prawns tasted like actual prawns & the shawarma was creamy & filling. The mixed kebab was good & the brownie wasn't overly sweet. The service, staff & interior were also great. They had posters of veganism and cute motivational quotes everywhere. I highly recommend Ubuntu!

Im usually skeptical about places with more than one style of cuisine (here they had Indian, Thai, Lebanese, more) but was pleasantly surprised that they had a delicious Tom Yum that I ordered with vegan chicken. I will say that they are very overpriced compared to other vegan options you can find around but still a great option for tasty food

A great place for vegan food, especially if you enjoy classic dishes with a plant-based twist. I tried the vegan butter chicken and the vegan Pad Thai noodles, and both were surprisingly authentic in taste and texture. The butter chicken had a rich, creamy gravy with well-balanced spices, while the Pad Thai was flavorful without being too heavy. It’s impressive how they’ve recreated these popular non-veg dishes in a completely vegan way. Definitely worth a visit for vegans, and even for non-veg eaters who want to try something different.

First time I had tea leaf salad, Khao soi, Sausage kebab and mango sticky rice.
Went there another day and tried Golden fried Prawns, Fysh finger and chips, Chiyken tikka kebab, Chiyken tikka biryani. They have amazing delicacies with mock meat.
The menu and vibe of the place was beautiful. I read the story while waiting for my food and interacted with owners.
Each and every dish was unique with amazing flavours. A must try place for everyone while roaming around in old town.

I was actually on my way to a restaurant but happened to stumble across here instead and I was so happy I had!! The menu is massive a there is something for everyone! I love how the menu is designed and the extra bits at the back giving their story & some recommendations. The food was lovely and came out very quick. We were surprised from start to finish, sadly not pleasently. We had the impression that we could get some nice Indian food here, but the paneers we had were just bad. They were served in the cheapest plates and tasted as much. Especially the spinach paneer was bitter and the tofu in both had no taste and bad texture. The rice and parath (bread) were small in serving and poor in taste as well. Apparently, they do not prepare the parath fresh. The size and quality is ridiculously for what you pay. The strawberry lassi and lychee soda were nice, but that's about it. The bathroom is in need of repairs as well.
