It turns out i wanted to eat something at 14:30pm bc i didn't have time to go home but arriving at this place, they didn't have any pintxos. I don't know if it was just bad luck but the place itself is beautiful. Someday i'll try again to find some pintxos.

Estamos de turistas en Bilbao. Agotadas de andar y visitar, recorrimos 15 minutos hasta llegar al twiggy. El dueño nos comenta de una manera muy seca sin más que no tienen comida en esta temporada de covid. Le digo que tendrían que poner al día la aplicación y la página web y me dice sólo ok mirándome come si fuera una pesada. Ya no estamos en pandemia, empiezan a haber turistas y es verano. Si por ellos ésta no es la temporada (en otros veganos y vegetarianos se come sin problemas) que por lo menos lo comuniquen.

Good night time atmosphere, music playing. Weren't that many vegan options there when we visited. Noticeably more expensive that other spots but happy all the same to be able to order something vegan!

We had the vegan pintxos available (most of them are vegan) and they were really good! They also had vegan cake which was superb. The lady serving at the bar was really nice and helpful !

We went here around noon on a Thursday and it was a lovely, relaxed atmosphere with some indie rock playing (Ben Harper kind of vibes). The restaurant has a fun decor that seems like it was created by a bohemian world traveller. 5 of the 7 pintxos on the bar were vegan, and we found them all truly flavorful. We topped our meal off with a thick slice of delicious chocolate cake. We came back on a Saturday night and it was hopping, with loud music pumping out - but it's only drinks and no food so we headed elsewhere for our dinner.

The café has a really nice and welcoming atmosphere, everyone working there were really helpful. Most of the food options were vegan, only the tortillas weren't. The selection wasn't too wide, but everything I had was delicious!

Nice atmosphere. A variety of prepared dishes you can choose from. All marked as vegan or vegetarian ingredients. I had the vegan empanada, it was quit good. Self service.

I came back to Bilbao, i have my family there. And yes this isnt the friendliest place on earth for vegans. I actually feel I am entering the ennemy lines when coming to Bilbao or any other place in Basque country. Actually basque people LOVE food much more than any other humans i have ever met. But their food is based on meat and fish, eggs, etc. Well, this time i came to Twiggy with a big smile, last time it was weekend and they dont have over weekends or in august. Actually this is one thing i didnt like, they just have a few pintxos and the place is kind of a pub, drink oriented. When i arrived i asked the waitress if everything was vegan or vegetarian, she didnt seem to know the difference...after my insistence somebody from the other corner of the bar yelled at me that mayo, and other sauces were made out of soya milk. So i ordered 2-3 pintxos. And afterwards i wasnt feeling very well as i am feeling when i mistakenly eat some milk product, so i am pretty sure it contained it. At least the service was quite poor, as the waitress didnt even know what vegan is... so i am happy that there is options for vegetarians but i am vegan right now and after many similar problems in vegetarian places i decided its not worthy to even go there, if a place can not skip milk products, its simply not for me

A fairly small selection of food (there were 5 dishes available when we arrived late afternoon) but we enjoyed everything and the portions were decent. The staff didn't know much English but ordering pintxos is pretty easy - you just point and say how many you want.

Popped in here to shelter from the rain and have a late bit of lunch. They had a selection of vegan pintxos on the bar. We had a lovely vegan burger in a roll. It was much bigger than the usual pintxos and really filling and satisfying.Very reasonable price wise. Nice ambiance and cool toilet area!

I went for late lunch on a bad, rainy day and the atmosphere inside was warm and welcoming. I ate rollitos vietnamitas which were amaaazing and tasted of shiitake mushrooms and sesame and ginger. The little sandwich I had was OK, but I was feeling kind of sick of sandwiches at this point. Overall price wasn't bad at 6 euro for 2 pintxos and a glass of wine.
