Not The Best

I was excited to try this chain when I saw there was one locally to me as I don't often eat Caribbean food and I saw they had loads of choices for vegans. The atmosphere was quite fun and they have good deals on drinks, many of which are vegan including all the different rum flavours.
The food, however, was disappointing. I tried the jerk chicken and it was basically of slab of fake meat which was quite rubbery and tasteless. The sauce was fairly decent but they were out on the tables anyway. The spiced fries they came with were quite nice and a bit different but not really enough of them (or the actual 'chicken') so I was still a bit hungry. Perhaps I should have got the dish with rice and peas. I expect to feel full though after paying 15 quid for a meal and I didn't.
My friends who ordered meat seemed to have much bigger portions. May still go back and try the vegan curry, perhaps that would have been a better option.
Not in a hurry though!

Pros: Decent drinks, Clear vegan options, Unique cuisine

Cons: Tasteless fake meat, Portions too small, Sells lots of meat
