wonderful oasis - Edit
Rustic cafe with a Vege and very vegan friendly menu. Sells tea, teapots and knickknacks. This is not your slick Vege menu. More like south Asian inspired, home made, country fair. Great cookies. Very tasty entrées. Super friendly and helpful. Well worth supporting, and a great respite from the usual meaty Vermont offerings.

Tulsi is cozy - Edit
A favorite place to bring friends for chai and vegan cookies. Very laid back. Sort of Macrobiotic type food. Not fancy, but cheery, friendly and cozy.
Pros: Fun seating, Great beverages
Cons: Sometimes not perfectly clean
