The evening menu offers five marked vegan or vegan capable main dishes as well as four starters. Less selection at lunchtime but ask the server. Outside seating available under shady trees. Open Mon-Fri 11:30am-2:00pm, Tue-Sat 5:30pm-11:30pm. Closed Sun.

Very good and authentic food - Edit

There are multiple vegan options and the food is very tasty. Some dishes are extremely spicy so be careful.

Limited vegan lunchtime options - Edit

Asked about vegan options on the lunch menu several times and they said it was vegan.
Not sure it was the case. The "yoghurt" sauce seemed not very plant based...

Most of the menu dish I had was good!

Pros: Tasty food

Favourite indian place in Bern - Edit

In the evening there are 4 different starters and 5 main dishes which are vegan or can be ordered vegan, all marked on the menu. I ate there several times and all dishes are very tasty, but my favourite is definitely the vegan Baingan Bharta.

For lunch there is a smaller menu with 1-2 vegan dishes. The Daal menu is vegan for sure, I'm not sure if the Vegetable Curry menu is always vegan, as they change the curry on a daily basis, so better ask if it is vegan. Lunch can be either eaten on the spot or as a take-away (discount if you bring your own food container).

Very large selection, not sure about lunchtime though - Edit

This place lists many dishes that are vegan or optionally vegan in the menu. However these are probably not available during lunchtime, since they have a different, smaller menu then with only vegan daal. In the evening you get to enjoy all this nice food and a beautiful shady garten, all in a very quiet area.
