Lovely Nd very big falafel plate - Edit
It was 8:45pm and all of the vege/vegan places in town were closed. The opening times in general here are varying massively due to rain and covid quietness.
Read moreThis was one of the few places I could find that was still open so I decided to try it. I had a falafel plate which was very good. Good falafel, good humus, fresh salad and fries. The lady that served me said it wasn't vegan and when I asked what was in it that's not vegan she said "garlic " so I guess she was confusing vegan with Buddhist Jay...
Turns out it was vegan. I would probably only return if all the vege/vegan places were shut but that's not a reflection of the food or value, just because I would rather support exclusively vegan/vege places as much as possible.
I've seen some bad reviews for TTK which to me seem unfounded. I still have quite a few vegan/vege places to try in Pai before I leave. Unfortunately the walking street has been closed the last few nights due to bad weather (so no one is walking around!) otherwise i would've definitely eaten at the vegan food carts.

You could better and cheaper. - Edit
We ordered 2 falafel plates, it was OK but less tasty than expected. There is a woman in the market, her pita falafel is absolutely delicious and half price than here.
Read moreWe also ordered garlic bread for the apertizer but it never came. So I couldn't say to you how it taste.
Pros: Large plate.
Cons: Expensive, service could be better

Great food made with care and love - Edit
One of the best places in town. Falafel plate is outstanding, tastes authentic and the side of pickles takes it to the next level. The owner is a lovely thai lady that really cares about customers experience and keeps the quality standards high.

Disappointed - Edit
I was disappointed after reading good reviews! I ordered the falafel plate and everything on it was bland. (And no pickles!) it was also the most expensive meal we had in Pai during our time here, def skip it and head to Charlie and Leks around the corner!

Great Veggie Options at The Thai Kebab - Edit
TTK is short for The Thai Kebab so look out for that sign. Not fully veggie but has plenty of vegan options including hummus and falafel plate which is a really good spread. There are only a few fully vegan places in Pai and they close early so check out here for an evening feed.

small portion size but big price - Edit
Only an average meal. Got the falafel plate with Fries to go. 5 small falafel balls, hardly any amount of sides was provided. Definitely not worth the 150 baht. Would not eat there again unless we had to again (Song Kran)

Average - Edit
Most greasy pad thai we've ever had. The panang curry was good, but too much tofu vs the sauce. Ok for a quick bite but don't expect too much.

I tried the burger, which looked great and tasted nice but unfortunately was cold in the middle. Next time I'd go for falafel.

Yummy and satisfying - Edit
We found this place using the Happy Cow app and weren't disappointed. The staff were really friendly and happy to accommodate my partner's gluten intolerance by slightly altering a meal (extra fries instead of a bun!). I ordered the veggie falafel: great portion size, delicious pickle and lovely fresh pitta. I also had the avocado, coconut milk and dates smoothie. Wow. This shake was divine. Head here and you're in for a treat.

Best falafel in town! - Edit
TTK has the best falafel in town! I was driving my motor cycle looking for a vegetarian / vegan restaurant, and all of a sudden I saw this sign with the word 'falafel' written on it. From that moment I only ate at TTK. I even had falafel for breakfast! By the way, they also have a great veggie burger. Please say hi to the lovely owner Koi.

Definitely worth it! - Edit
Very diverse new menu (launched in November 2016).
Read moreThough originally named The Thai Kebab (and still serving kebab meat) , TTK also offers a lots of veggie and vegan choices for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Fresh home made items (bread rolls, pitas, hummus, falafel, extroardinary good cakes :), yoghurt, coffee, fruit shakes) , tasty vegetarian middle-eastern dishes and nearly all Thai dishes are available with tofu.
Quality of the food is good, very fast on the table. Portions are bigger than average, prices reasonably fair.
I would say a well organised all-round restaurant for Asian and Western visitors. Good location in town centre, good-hearted staff and a cosy joyful laid-back atmosphere.

Pros: All day open, Choices in the menu for everyone, Good price quality value
