Awesome Ramen and Gyoza in the airport! - Edit
I’m not sure where other reviewers were eating better ramen and gyoza but I can assure you this ramen is better than any ramen I have had in the USA. I was expecting it to be kind of bland from other reviews and it was very flavorful and the gyoza were also delicious. Sooo happy they had one in Terminal 1 at Narita. I think they have one in Terminal 2 also.

T’s TanTan at Narita is definitely not the best vegan ramen in Japan, but it does the job for airport food. The broth is decent and creamy, though it lacks the depth you get at their main Tokyo spots. It’s a bit basic overall, but the service is super fast and it’s fully plant-based. Don't expect a mind-blowing meal, but it's a totally fine, convenient option to fill up on before a long flight.

Pure Vegan Ramen after Immigration at NRT T1 - Edit
If you are looking for vegan food then must visit this as it has 4 options of Ramen, Gyoza and even vegan Gelato. Loved the ramen as everything was fresh. You can also pack instant vegan Ramen which is available.

Final Vegan Meal in Japan - Edit
It's to the left side after passing security. My flight was delayed so I needed food but wasn't overly hungry so had gyoza and gelato. Both were good but not amazing. Maybe I should have had a ramen. Cup ramen also available for takeaway.

After spending 2 1/2 weeks in Taiwan & the Philippines, and then expecting to have no options in Narita either, I was shocked to see T’s here in terminal 1! I loved them when I visited Japan a couple years ago. Love them and love their ramen! Can’t believe the reviews saying it is just ok. Wow, it is amazing!! So so happy! And they even have takeaway ramen and vegan gelato!

It is basically designed to have a final experience of T's Tantan at the airport before leaving Japan so I can't comment much. Taste is subjective, I didn't actually like soya sauce version of ramen as compared to their JR Tokyo counterpart that much but at least it's acceptable.

Fresh, speedy, flavourful, was great in a pinch. Generous portion sizes. Most dishes have soy meat which I personally enjoyed. Bonus is the great view of the runway from anywhere in the restaurant

A delicious last meal in Japan - Edit
I had an incredible shoyu ramen here just before leaving Japan. I also had a matcha gelato and got some cookies to eat on the plane. In a country that is not particularly vegan-friendly, it is an incredible privilege to be able to eat good vegan food at the airport. Don't listen to people who seem to think that leaving lukewarm reviews for excellent vegan restaurants makes them look like sophisticated food critics. I would go back to Japan just to be able to eat at T's TanTan one more time.

It's vegan and nice for people who are vegan and vegetarian and only survived on onigiri a whole trip. Had the tan tan one. Hot. If on a hurry get gyoza. They are fast it took under 5 min for my food to arrive but I was like the 3rd customer.

This place is right down the end of Terminal 1 opposite Gate 51, so a bit of a walk depending on where you arrive (we came from the Narita Express train which was basically opposite end). I think because it was quite far, and unless you’re departing from gates 50 you probably wouldn’t venture this far down the terminal, the area was super quiet and uncrowded. It’s in a food court and has lots of space if you have luggage with you.

We have been told that vegan food is hard to come by in Japan. We just arrived, and there is this excellent Ramen bar on the fourth floor of the terminal. We had very good vegan Ramen, Gyoza, and salad-rice-bean mix-egg plate, all plant based and delicious. #Veganuary
