Nice spot - Edit
Vegan burger wasn’t to my liking so I replaced it with the vegan pizza (I didn’t take a picture) but it was pretty good!

Vegan options that stand out - Edit
The items I tried are ordinary, but the way the made it was special. I had hummus, a pizza a burguer and a Squash pie.
Read moreYou have to ask to remove the feta on the hummus to make it vegan. The hummus by itself wasn't very special, but it had veggies on top that went very good with it (witch is not usual) and the pita bread was delicious.
The burger looked like the patty was home made and all the ingredients in between blended nicely in the mouth. Not the usual burger non vegan places have to have a vegan option.
The pizza was the most surprising thing (Roasted Butternut Squash), the dough looked like it had a garlic bread base and the crust was very thin. The other ingredients were a good complement.
And the squash pie was good. Not something you usually find.
It's worth to note the place has a seasonal menu and you might have different options depending of the time of the year you go.
Pros: Unique vegan options., Really delicious., Nice staff.
Cons: The place is expensive., Although delicious, few vegan options., You might not find the options I had (seasonal)

Delicious and nutritious - Edit
I got the vegan buger with sweet potato hash and kale salad. The "meat" of the burger was portobello mushrooms. So good! Chantell took great care of us! I will be back to try other vegan options.

I had ancient grain bowl with tofu and stole a slice of my sisters vegan pizza. Although restaurant serves meat it’s healthy focused with many tasty vegan options and labeled clearly.

Seriously, the Grilled Artichoke & Pesto pizza (vegan) is one of the best things I've ever had. I'm writing the review solely for this dish, although their are many other great things on the menu.

The vegan and veg options are clearly marked. The food was really fresh and tasty and interesting flavours. The kale guacamole is amazing. It's fairly busy so might be worth reserving a table.

One of my Favorites - Edit
True Food Kitchen is one of my favorite options when dining out with my non vegan boyfriend or friends. There is something for everyone. The vegan dishes are clearly marked and they are never boring. This place is more on the pricey side, and it can be hard to get a table sometimes. Plus, it's valet there like most places in the city...those are my only real complaints though.
Read moreCan't say enough good things about the food here. You won't be let down if you are a vegan or vegetarian.
Pros: vegan/vegetarian clearly marked , good amount of vegan options, good for both non vegans and vegans
Cons: valet, kind of on expensive side

Tasty fresh food - Edit
This is not a vegan place, but offers some vegan options. I have been there today for the first time. I had the burger with tempeh. Usually I am not a big fan of tempeh, but this was really delicious. The side of sweet potato hashs and shredded kale was extremely tasty as well. My husband had the same and loved it too. They have a nice selection of beers and wines and even some interesting smoothies that I have to try next time. The ambience is very nice. Staff has been super friendly. I wish they had more vegan options. They accommodate and are willing to make some changes with your order. My friend replaced the meat on her order with tofu e.g. will definitely go back. Prices are a bit high.
