Troitskiy Most - Posadskaya

English is not spoken, some of the menu is in english though. Service is quick but the menu on the wall is quite messy. Nevertheless atmosphere is relaxed and nice, food is served quickly and it is tasty. Not so crowded.

Staff do not speak any English. There were only few dishes written in English on the board. It was difficult to order because you just do not know what to get.

We had lentils with vegetables which was probably straight from the can. It was ready immediatly and did not consist anything else but green lentils in a sauce. We ate those but did not want to stay there any longer time. Atmosphere was not friendly and cosy.

Staff should learn few words English that they could communicate better with tourists. Staff did not either smile at all and it made us feel that we bother them to come as customers...

Could not recommend this place if you want to enjoy your meal.

The menu is all in russian and the waitress did not speak any English. Another customer did speak English and he recommend a potato and mushroom gratin. This did indeed taste very good, and they have a large choice of salads. It's really inexpensive for what you get, great place.

It's cheap place, very nice settings. Good variety of dishes. You need to look for what you order if you don't consume dairy products. Salads possibly can contain eggs.

1stly the Kamenoostrovski Prospekt branch of Troitsky Most isn't actually on Kamenoostrovski Prospekt; it's on M. Posadskaya ulitsa on the corner of Kamenoostrovski.

When I was there the staff didn't speak any English and neither was there an English menu.

I had a go at saying, 'Ya vegan, Ya vegana' to try to explain that I am a vegan vegetarian but possibly through my poor Russian that wasn't understood. I then said, "Bez malako, bez krema, bez seera, bez malako mazlo" and before I had finished speaking the girl behind that counter was giving me non verbal communication suggesting that she now was on my wavelength.

The cafe is 2 - 3 mins walk from Gobkovskaya metro. From the metro station the kafe is on the other side of the prospekt and in the direction away from the river. With opening times of 9:00 -> 23:00 it is open good long hours.

Tasty food and inexpensive.

We only found this restaurant - at Zagorodny Prospekt, on our last but one day but still managed a quick visit for coffee and cake in the cafe attached, the morning of our last day as the food was so good.

The meal in the restaurant was very nice and the whole restaurant is non smoking and also does not sell alcohol. It appears to be based on and Indian theme but has an extensive menu with dishes from several countries including Russian dishes.

The meal was reasonably priced and the staff were pleasant and helpful. There was a menu written in English.

The cafe also had a very good selection of food and drinks and lovely cakes.

The restaurant and cafe are fairly central being about 5 minutes walk from the Dostoevsky area.
