“Healthy Restaurant” - Edit
90% vegetarian, pancakes are bland and watery. Juices are alright. Not very vegan friendly unless you want fruit.

Healthy and fresh breakfast - Edit
We came for breakfast and got the vegan menu which was 10€ for mini pancakes, an açaí bowl, salad wrap, coffee and tea. All of it was delicious. They also had a clearly labeled vegan menu for lunch. The staff was very nice!

Great for Vegetarians, good for Vegans - Edit
Very nice restaurant, mainly vegetarian (but has also fish) comfortable and pretty furnished. Menu is short but all looks tasty and fresh. They also have a great selection of juice with ginger, beetroot etc…I had a soup and salad with hummus and fruit, good even if a bit expensive for Azores (7 Eur). I just would suggest more attention to veganism: after I said I am vegan, I was served with bread with butter. If not, 5 stars

Healty place - Edit
The salad and juices we had were tasty, but we expected more options. However, the vegan burguer and curry were only available for weekend dinners...

Very delicious vegan options - Edit
Had the vegan soy and red beet hamburger - which is served without bread but with sweet potatoes instead - and watermelon juice and for dessert their chocolate mousse. It was very tasty, especially the burger, and the staff were very nice and attentive. Seats about 20 and is very close to the city center. They had two vegan options on their special dinner menu, probably more on the regular one (which seems more bistro-like).

A healthy option - Edit
This restaurant is purely refreshing. It feels good to get a healthy dose of nutrients after a lot of bread & fries, on the island. We went for dinner and breakfast. The curry is awesome! Fresh pineapple in it, so good! Their salads are great and super generous in size too!!

Amazing vegan options 5/5 - Edit
Fantastic. Very helpful staff. Had a small menu (4 dinner items and 2 were fully vegan) and also salad options. We had the vegan burger and it was so good!!! They have vegan desserts as well. Highly recommend.

An oasis in the Azores - Edit
Vegetarian food is not easy to find in the Azores. Treze has at least 2-3 vegan/vegetarian dishes every day. We found the dishes to be made with fresh food, of high quality, and quite tasty. It is easy to walk there in the heart of Ponta Delgada. Definitely a place to try if you are in Sao Miguel for a couple of days.

Love this little place! - Edit
Cristina, the lovely owner, offers fantastic vegan, gluten free that are substantial. One salad is full of delicious hummus made from peas, garbanzo beans, cabbage, lettuce, tomatoes, cucumbers, etc. The vegan chocolate mouse is a must!!! I highly recommend this place, my friend and I dined here three times.

Delicious vegetarian options + vegan mousse! - Edit
Treze is a beautiful place, with incredibly welcoming staff! The food is fresh, healthy and creative, great plates of the day and juices. I’ve eaten there multiple times and always different choices. Ginger juice is amazing! Also if you’re vegan with a sweet tooth — they have a non diary chocolate mousse that is *SO* Delicious! Really a gem of a restaurant and very centrally located in Ponta Delgada.

Delicious and very nice people! - Edit
Been to Ponta Delgada on vacation several times and I always try to eat lunch at least twice at this place. Salads and sandwiches are amazing. Juices and smoothies excellent too (specially the ginger one). Everything is extremely clean and well taken care of. Owners are very nice and speak perfect English. The place is mostly vegetarian (they serve cheese, salmon/lox) but can make you a vegan salad upon request, just ask. It's a very down to earth place where you can have a very good light veggie meal. Overall one of the best food experiences I had in this island!

Why would you post a photo of a salmon sandwich on a vegetarian and vegan site? That makes me really question the validity of your review...

This place is about as Vegan as McDonald's. - Edit
We came here based on an earlier review. Unfortunately, upon arrival, we quickly realized this is NOT a vegan restaurant/cafe. It's vegetarian. Sure, kudos for the right 'direction', but, beyond that, if you're vegan, there's little here for you here beyond a glass of water, and a magazine to look at.
Read moreWe inquired about vegan options, and were offered one salad (tofu salad) on the menu. However... they were out of tofu. So, that was that. No worries- restaurants run out of ingredients- it's normal. However, coming here on the assumption there were 'some' vegan options, only to find just one- a salad, was a bit misleading, to say the least. To be respectful, we both ordered a fruit shake/smoothie, and left shortly thereafter. We were fortunate to discover a genuine, all vegan restaurant in the city the following day in another location.
If you're vegetarian- this place will be great. It's clean. The decor is fantastic. The staff are VERY friendly. However, if you're looking for a vegan place to eat, you'll find about as many vegan options at a McDonald's as you will here. Having an apple behind the counter, does not a vegan restaurant make.
Pros: Clean, slick decor,, Friendly, welcoming staff., Central location.
Cons: No vegan options (except for one salad)

Awesome new vegetarian-friendly option in PDL - Edit
São Miguel isn't always easy for vegetarians or vegans, but Treze is a great new option for folks who want to skip the meat and cheese. I live just up the street, and watched them finish with construction with anticipation. I think I must have gone there the first 4 days it was open. All the food is super tasty, but the smoothie bowl is my favorite. Oh, and the watermelon juice. Yum!
