Italian cuisine with some vegan options - Edit
We tried Travinia out today. There are two clearly labeled vegan options on the menu, the vegan stuffed mushrooms appetizer and the vegan pasta primavera.
Read moreThe stuffed mushrooms are prepared with baby portabella, mixed veggies, breadcrumbs, and a balsamic reduction. It was tasty. The pasta was also pretty good.
Our server seemed to understand our dietary requirements and was very attentive. Prices were moderate.
We would say this is a good place to go with your non-vegan friends. Like the vast majority of Italian restaurants, there isn't a great deal to choose from -- but at least there are a couple clearly marked vegan options, aside from salad or cheese-less pizza.
