Good vibe, few options - Edit
Lots of vegetarian options but few to no vegan ones. Are happy enough to modify/omit to make vegan though (I had a little chuckle as the waiter suggested the veg quesadilla with no cheese, which I ordered. Then I overheard her telling the cook the order and they were very confused… “but with no cheese it’s not a quesadilla!”) Nice buzz and beautiful sunsets!

The place to be - Edit
one of the very few places in nicaragua where i got oatmilk, so thats a plus for sure! selection of drinks is fantastic, selection of vegan food okay-ish. fairly pricey though, compared to other places.

We're glad we had everything you were looking for and that you found our options "fantastic" and "tasty". Places that offer the best often have a bit higher overhead than the places that don't have the better options that you want, and therefore slightly higher prices than "other places" that have less. Especially here on a remote island where everything has to be transported in by boat, with additional costs involved.

The vegan burger is one of the cheapest things on the main menu, generously sized and really good. Plenty of other menu options that can be made vegan with a few tweaks.

Relaxed cafe with a lovely view, small shop selling local products including handmade local vegan soap and a book library! A few clearly marked vegetarian options but no vegan marking and not many options at all. We had the smoothie bowl with oat milk and no granola (checked and contained honey) - it was pretty good. Alternative milks available for coffee too with no surcharge. One of the few places that takes cards if you've run out of cash (6% charge) and also does cashback (10% charge). Free WiFi.

Breakfast smoothie bowl! - Edit
Came for breakfast and had a delicious smoothie bowl with oat milk , chia seed, granola, coconut and a choice of three fruits. Also enjoyed a fresh passionfruit juice. Views are spectacular from this beachfront location and service was fast and friendly. Lots of vegetarian options, and a few vegan.
