a very small, simple room where you can get or eat authentic artisan pizza. Neapolitan style with thick, fluffy crust. For my taste there habe been a little too many dark bubbles on the pizza, but I enjoyed it here! My pizza had both - cashew and rice based cheese and veggies and I had a nice chat with the owners.

They have a few options. The pizza’s are handmade. Really nice staff. They use rice cheese and cashew cream for the pizza. It’s a small and cosy place.

Ils proposent 3 pizzas entièrement VEGAN : elles sont généreuses, délicieuses, et pas chères !
Le personnel est aux petits soins,très souriant et accueillant. Nous avons passé un super moment et avons oublié le trajet de plus de 20 minutes de marche et métro.
J'y retournerai certainement.

Went yesterday (Thursday 24th September) because it was close to our hotel, I REALLY wanted pizza, and this seemed a good choice.

My pizza (Caponata) was almost as delicious. I couldn't finish it all, the owners boxed it for me, and I have just finished it for breakfast. 😁
One starter to share, a pizza each and a diet Coke each was around €30.
At the time of writing this, the restaurant has only been open again in the evenings for around a week due to pandemic. Be prepared to show your immunisation or recent test certificate.
Really, do not miss this little gem.
Our hosts were super friendly, and struck a great balance of being chatty and friendly, while still allowing us the privacy of enjoying our meal. Thank you for such a pleasant and delicious visit!
Pros: Small vegan selection, but done REALLY well!

A very nice thing at Tozzi is the fact that a few pizza are marked as possibly vegan. They don't just take the cheese out, they replace it with vegan cheese.

Read moreThe owners, Marina e Tozzi, are lovely people, super kind.
They have a vegan starter (temperara) that consists of the pizza dough seasoned with tomato sauce and garlic oil. Amazing.
The main menu has traditional flavors and an author menu. The traditional flavors are always available, while the author's menu is seasonal.
They always have a vegan option, and you can ask for "veganize" some vegetarian ones. For example, the 2020 Autumn Menu has the vegan Caponata pizza, but the Cogunam (mushrooms, miso, lemon, and other delicious things) can be vegan if you ask for it. Also the Margherita.
Tozzi Forneria also serves some sandwiches, which the bread is made from pizza dough. The caponata sandwich, originally vegetarian, also have a vegan version.
I already tried the vegan pizza of the 2020 Summer menu, the vegan starter (temperara), the vegan caponata sandwich, and all the vegan pizzas that they serve on the 2020 Autumn menu, and TRUST ME: eat there. Just do it and thank me later.
The restaurant is small, so I strongly recommend booking a table :)
