Authentic South Indian idli sambar, dosas, and more. Call before you go. Open Mon 11:30am-2:30pm, 5:30pm-9:30pm, Wed-Fri 11:30am-2:30pm, 5:30pm-9:30pm, Sat-Sun 11:30am-3:30pm, Sat 5:30pm-10:00pm, Sun 5:30pm-9:30pm.
Really enjoyed our meals, and how the menu made it easy to pick vegan options by putting an icon beside them. For some reason they only served bottled water and a couple sodas in cans which was odd for a sit down restaurant. But the food was delicious so we'll be going back.
When I was vegetarian, years ago, I loved this place. I have been since becoming vegan and do not go back often. The menu isn't labeled with what is vegan and the staff doesn't always provide the same information. I have been able to get some food items, after discussion with the chef and who I think was the manager. As a vegetarian place, it would be nice to see more vegan options.
And if they were vegan friendly, their staff would be trained on what "vegan" means or find out from someone who does know. I have been there a total of 3 times. I was told that some things were vegan the first time I tried it. Then the second time, I was told some of those things were not vegan. By the way, this is the same server both times. The second time I went, I was told the chana masala was not vegan. Then I was told in a vegan Facebook group that the server was wrong. The third time I went, I believe a different server informed me that only 3 or 4 dishes could be made vegan.
I love that it's all vegetarian and the staff is very friendly. While I'm not rushing to go out there again (I can find other Indian places that aren't vegetarian but have a better understanding of what vegan is), I would go again. But it might be more helpful to go during a Vegan Meetup or with someone who frequents there to make sure what you are eating is definitely vegan.
I love their lunch buffet. Very fresh, with new dishes brought out to replenish as enthusiastic diners consume the initial offerings very quickly. Always a brisk paced crowd enjoying the food.
I have visited on consecutive weekdays, and was surprised to see completely different dishes, all excellent and flavorful.
With the new management Tower is getting a better look. The food as usual is excellent . New paint, new furniture , new items in the menu.....I have just one thing to say Excellent !!!!!!
