Tasty Food and Friendly Service - Edit
Tiki Loco was the 1st place that I ate in Dallas and boy was I happy! I had the tradish migas. Being a northerner, I was new to migas breakfast and so happy I tried it. There was so many gorgeous baked goods in the cases. I wish I would have made it back to try more. If I ever make it back to Dallas, I will definitely return to Tiki Loco!

Go to vegan spot - Edit
Simply delicious! Our favorite vegan spot to go in Dallas for amazing Mexican/Hawaiian inspired dishes. The “carne asada” is crazy good and so is the nachos with queso. Plus all their sauces/dips are super tasty! Highly recommend and a must for a taco Tuesday.

Disappointed - Edit
The nachos were delicious, albeit slightly on the sweeter side due to carrots. We tried 3 kinds of tacos with 3 different sides. All of them lacked flavor. None of them were spicy. They just had veggies and fake meat with insufficient salsa. Hawaiian steak was terrible. BBQ pork was more sweet than we expected. Salsa provided with the chips was also meh. I've had much better tacos in many other places. Really wish they could have been better.
Read moreGiving them the benefit of the doubt because they have many other items on their menu, including Smoothies.
Pros: Lots of vegan options. , Flavourful nachos.
Cons: Tacos lacked flavor, salsa, sauces. , Difficult to find street parking.

5 star flavor all the way! - Edit
I am so glad I was able to make 2 trips here while in Dallas!
Read moreBoth times were just fantastic. The staff was superbly friendly, helpful, and quick.
The food was just ah-mazingly wonderful! The flavor, the texture, it hit home in every way.
The recommendation by the staff to try the queso was spot-on 100%!!! Best queso dip ever!
They had local beverages to enjoy, I loved a local beer the first day and a local kombucha the second trip.
I was able to try the last bit of some chocolate they had for dessert on the second trip and it was wonderful.
So, this was not just my opinion. I brought my omni coworker for one of the trips and he just loved every bit as much as I did.
I also found out that a business acquaintance in town as well also went there, and she raved about it as well.
Next time I'm in town I won't miss it! It's right up there with Spiral Diner, but its own fantastic niche!
Pros: FLAVOR!, Quality, Atmosphere/staff

Delicious!! - Edit
The only bad thing I can think of to say about this place is that I wish it wasn’t in Deep Ellum because it’s a nightmare to navigate and park in. My favorite dish so far has been the BBQ pork nachos.

The Hawaiian “steak” taco is delish!!! Not fond of the potato and soyrizo taco, but I did eat it after the Hawaiian one, so my palate might have been off.

Call and make sure they're open - Edit
I'm not local, drove 30 minutes to get here and paid for parking. Happy Cow and Google both say they're open, they're not. Please update your hours as it's not the most convenient place to go to.

Way overboard with the heat - Edit
Every dish that we ordered was so over spice that I couldn’t eat it. My husband likes hot hot hot but I can’t tolerate it and it’s nice when you can find a restaurant that has some thing you can eat. He had a great two meal experience, I went home hungry.

Cute and friendly, but not the best food - Edit
Tiki Loco is a cute little restaurant in the Deep Ellum neighborhood of Dallas, a little east of downtown. The service was friendly, and we liked the ambiance, but I wasn't crazy about the breakfast we got. I admit to being a bit picky when it comes to home fries, and I'd rather they be either really small or super crispy. I also don't think red potatoes make good home fries. I did love my smoothie, and my boyfriend loved his breakfast cocktail. If I'm back in Dallas, I might consider trying it for lunch or dinner, but I'm not sure I recommend it for breakfast.

Order canceled, disappointed - Edit
I placed an order online about 2pm. We’re driving through the city and wanted to try the food at this place. Placed the order 30 mins in advance to save time for quick pick up. I got to the place and found out they cancelled my order and I only found out when I had already arrived. It was explained to me that I should’ve received and email notification (not sure why they don’t send a text message) and that it was canceled because the kitchen could not keep up with orders. There was no line when I came in and only a few people sitting down eating.

Tiki Loco
Read moreThis is a nice spot deep inside of Deep Ellum District next to 🏢🏬🏨🏫downtown Dallas. They serve vegan foods, smoothies and desserts. This is a very nice vegan location to eat in. I basically decided to sample all the tacos 🌮 on a soft shell tortilla. Also let's put a little loaded nachos next to it. Let's say that I ordered more than I could eat 😂. The food was delicious and pleasing the service and atmosphere was very nice. I ate at this location right after the lunch time hours. So parking 🚙 was easily available but I did pay💸 to park. Overall good experience will be back to this location in the future. 👍👍
Pros: Nice seating area inside, Two different counters serving food items, Good food menu
Cons: Most likely will have to pay for parking, Will get super crowded doing big events
