Dishes are labeled with ingredient info. Pay for food by weight. Brunch on Sunday and holidays until 2.30pm. Buffet closes 30 minutes before closing time. Open Mon-Wed 7:00am-10:30pm, Thu-Fri 7:00am-11:00pm, Sat 8:00am-11:00pm, Sun 8:00am-10:30pm.

Lots of tasty and filling food, good desserts too. My favourites are the carrot-ginger mousse, veg tartar, stuffed jalapeños, and many dishes change on a weekly basis.

My partner and I visited Tibits for lunch during a holiday weekend in Lausanne. We liked the food and the service, and the premises looked clean and tidy. Staff spoke English, however, the dishes descriptions were only in French and some of the were missing altogether which is an issue if you’re vegan for example. Prices were in line with the other restaurants in Lausanne and service was really friendly.

The place is very nice and they offer a large buffet full of different types of food. You can find for example veganized traditional Swiss dishes like Zürcher Geschnetzeltes, or Indian curries, Asian spring rolls etc. Everything's usually very delicious and their desserts are lovely.

It's a vegetarian buffet but there's plenty of vegan options. Everything that I've ever tried was very tasty, fresh and of great quality. Every vegan dish of the buffet is labeled so it's easy to know what's vegan and what's not. My favorite is the papet vaudois, the seitan bourguignon and the passion fruit mousse. I'm only putting 4 stars because of the staff. One bartender once mocked me for asking for vegan milk in my coffee ("Is it to save the pandas?" with a fake, mocking sad face). And sometimes, the bartenders keep chatting and laughing together while customers are waiting to take their order, it's not very pleasant, especially when you have a train to catch (the restaurant is located in the train station). Some of them are perfectly nice and professional though, but it's a bit of a gamble. The food is also quite expensive. But from time to time it is worth it for me because it truly is tasty and its location is very practical.

À l’heure du café, beaucoup moins de monde mais un buffet toujours régulièrement rechargé. On était un peu déçu de l’aspect visuel des plats et du manque d'originalité. Ceci étant, on est heureux d’avoir une offre pareil au centre de Lausanne.

First, the space is stunning. Early century Art Deco with 20m high ceilings (ok maybe not that much but it's how it looks), a lot of light and great furniture. They really revealed this place (that was a dusty traditional restaurant before).

It's expensive, but everything is SO GOOD! So much choice for vegans, including delicacies such as seitan bourguignon, almond cheese, excellent scrambled tofu for brunch or beautiful desserts.
Personally I love also the buffet setup, allowing me to customize my plate.

Tibits propose énormément d'options végétaliennes dans ce buffet, froid ou chaud. Certains produits sont bio et locaux. On y trouve des bières et des glaces artisanales. Dommage que tout ne soit pas végétalien ;)
