Super excellent food. Great vegan options

The food at Tia’s Big Sky is NEXT LEVEL.☀️Super kind food : prepared with love and good vibes using local organic farm ingredients! Her Pumpkin tamales are amazing, served with their signature coleslaw (!!!)...and topped with fresh made salsa (salsa fresca), cilantro cream sauce, cotija cheese, pickled red onions, & fresh cilantro (Vegans: remind them to hold the cilantro cream sauce & cotija cheese: and sub with extra cilantro, pickle, and/or salsa fresca. Also excellent is: vegetarian frijoles negros, in-house coleslaw: which is mind blowing - hand made, and vegetarian tacos. Try the tamales first. Tia’s: Pumkin tamales; frijoles negros; veg. Tacos, gourmet coleslaw, and of course chips and home made salsa. TREAT YOURSELF to Great Local Food. !Comida muy excelente!

Pros: Pumpkin tamales, Homemade coleslaw, salsa fresca, pickled red onion, Excellent hand-prepared food

Cons: $$ (but kind local organic farm ingredients), Only a few vegan options (But really good ones)

Great tamales and tacos

Checked Tia’s Big Sky out while in Missoula,MT to taste the vegan options and I was not disappointed. The staff was friendly and keen to leave off the dairy. The tamale and taco were topped with a tasty relish that complimented the dish. The tamale was delicious, a nice corn shell with a black bean and sweet potato spicy mix. The taco came in a round corn soft shell with a smoky mix of the black bean and sweet potato filling. I had iced tea and was very pleased with the out door seating and the speed of service.

Pros: Lots of vegan options, authentic tamale w/no meat or dairy
