Masala
Serves meat, vegan options available. Opened Feb 2016 in downtown, a casual Indian restaurant with at least half of the options being vegan/vegetarian and are labeled. Vegans can choose one curry, or a vegetarian platter with choice of two curries, dal, rice, and chapati. The naan is not vegan. Sometimes has a vegan dessert - ask.

Vegan options clearly labeled - Edit
When I visited, the clearly labeled vegan options included two mains, two appetizers, chapati flatbread (so doughy and yummy) and a dessert. I appreciated that brown rice was an option in addition to white rice. I got a two item combo + chapati and had enough to take home leftovers. The food was tasty and filling and the prices very affordable.

Good Indian food with clear vegan options - Edit
This isn't a sit down and order restaurant, but it is very classy looking. You stand in line, see all of the curries available in a glass case (kind of like an ice cream parlor), choose one curry or a veggie platter - you get 2 curries, dal, rice, and chapati. There is a choice between white and brown rice. When we went yesterday there were 3 vegan curries available, with a 4th being made in the kitchen. There were 2 vegan chutneys, and also super delicious breaded fried cauliflower available as an add-on! The food was flavorful although not particularly spicy. My favorite part was the dal, chapati, and fried cauliflower. A great new option for downtown Missoula!
Pros: labels vegan, fried cauliflower , flavorful dal
Cons: serves meat, sometimes has cheese dishes, naan is not vegan :(
